Will the protest solve anything?

It has become a norm for the government to always tamper with the network whenever there is a protest, I have not been able to work effectively since yesterday and missed out on a lot of tasks because the MTN network is so bad, I was already considering star link when my neighbor suggested I should try Airtel network and to my surprise, it works great and that Is the reason why I could make this post.

I saw a lot of videos online regarding the ongoing protest but one thing is missing, I did not see many celebrities unlike the last one, it was the celebrities pushing it, I do not blame them because they are in more danger compared to other citizens... The reason is that they are well known and can be easily identified, during the last protest, some of them were arrested while some even got their bank account frozen for protesting against the government.

The protest ongoing at the moment is a peaceful one, military men have been deployed to the protest ground to protect the protesters and to fight against those set of people who want to use the opportunity of the protest to vandalize properties and commit theft which is the reason why I was against protest.

During protests, there are people with different agendas.

Some people want to protest so that the government can hear their cries and find a solution to the economic crises

Some people see protest as a time to cause violence, loot people's shops, and commit other crimes.

The government can solve this country's hardship but doesn't care. They are more concerned about enriching their own pocket, and it only gets worse every time a new president is elected, everyone was complaining during the time of Jonathan but the suffering doubled during the Buhari regime and now the Tinubu regime is suffocating, Our new president is a Vagabond and he doesn't care at all.

Those people who campaigned and voted for him are now full of regret, the suffering touched everyone and the worst part of this is that he will spend 8 years on the throne which signifies 8 years of hardship!

What could be the outcome of the protest? Maybe food prices will go down a bit for some weeks then everything will go back to square 1 because they don't care and are not doing the right thing to stop the hardship.

We have seen that even after the protest, the demands are not accepted, they only ask to remove the people from there, saying that your words will be accepted, after some time, everything becomes normal again.

Everybody get problem for this Naija make I no lie. Imagine people wanting to protest and the next thing some people feel they can do is see it as an opportunity to loot shops and all
We don’t know where this country is going, lol

they are already using it to loot and destroy things in the north, it didn't happen in lagos because of the military men

In this day and age, 8 years is a really long time!! I just hope that the protests becomes more than a temporary fix for the government to course correct temporarily, because things have to change for the better sooner than later.

I remember when I went for the EndSars protest. I almost died. My opinion is that every protester should stay safe and I hope one day, the Lord will deliver us from the tribulations of this country
To be honest, this country is like a doomed country

To an extent I have really seen that a whole lot of people does not understand that protesting does not change anything actually
