I really kinda loved the whole BBS system back then, and definitely loved Fidonet :-) You could even have emailadresses on Fidonet, where you could receive emails, which were then delivered to you within 48 hours :-D But since almost nobody else had email… well… :-D

I've heard that from a lot of different people, so I'm I imagine that they were pretty cool. I wish I had known Fidonet when it existed. It sounds like it was quite ahead of its time. 😁 🙏 💚 ✨ 🤙
