LVL token soars on Hive-engine as Psyber X gameplay videos are released
There are quite a lot of opportunities on hive and if you blink, you stand the risk of missing out. One of those opportunities is a play to earn game that is currently in an advanced stage of development called Psyber X.
Yesterday, we finally saw some gameplay videos of the game and it was pretty good. The video gave us an idea of what to expect, the mechanics and all that stuff.
My initial impression was that it is a nice attempt to bring some needed fast-paced action into the play to earn environment.
I also think that, based on the graphics I saw, most computers will be able to handle it. There weren't too many controls in the game as well, so playing with a keyboard and mouse
In the video that was published on @threespeak, you can see the player walking in a street shooting at Alien looking creatures that shoot back. At the end of one stage, the player walks through a portal that teleports the player to another stage.
I didn't see the player jump but I noticed that the player can crouch. The guns in the game shoot laser bullets because laser guns are cool and because the plot is in a futuristic/sci-fi scenery.
Overall, I was pleased with the initial development. The reception of this first phase will go a long way in determining the future of the game.
So far so good, virtually everyone is excited by the idea of the game and some would like to know if this is the final product. The @psyberx team offered some insight.
For now, at least, the graphics can't be compared to bigger games like Call of duty. However, I believe that future updates will be much better.
Overall, I think we are sitting on something really huge on Hive blockchain and it is only a matter of time before it really explodes. The idea of playing a First Person Shooter and earning from it is unheard of and this has the potential to bring more spotlight to the play to earn movement.
LVL has been pumping!!!
Immediately I heard about the game, I took out about $60 to buy a bit over 20K tokens. At that time, the price of the token was much cheaper than it is now.
One of my biggest regrets is that I didn't have more funds available to load up on LVL tokens. Anyway, the tokens at my disposal have already experienced a 300% rise since I got them.
A big part of the hype was because of the gameplay video that was released yesterday. This is a product that we're going to absolutely enjoy on Hive and I can see a future where each LVL token actually gets valued at $1.
not to get ahead of myself, I'm still pleased with the pump so far. However, I still have dreams to get up to 200K LVL tokens, so I have been buying a little bit at a time.
Yesterday, I managed to add another 5k tokens to my collection, to make it 25k, and today, I will try to push my stack to 30K tokens in total.
If you had plans to get some of the tokens, you might want to do it as soon as possible. IN the crypto world, things tend to get out of hand when projects like this start gaining serious traction.
So far, the marketing has been good but nothing over the top and that's something I respect. I saw a couple of Twitter accounts talking about the project and that is awesome on its own.
The real marketing will come from the product itself. When we have a finished product that we can actually play, you can bet your house that there will be thousands of people making videos, and talking about this game.
Overall, I think psyber x looks destined for great things. All it needs is to keep on building, upgrading and improving as the days go by. It is a lot of work but I think it will be worth it in the end.

It would be so crazy to see LVL at $1. But wherever it goes, it is funy to follow the game and its community. They are surprisingly active and engaged. I love to see that on !1UP
From what I understand, the token will apply to more games as they are developed. That is a key to it.

That's what they've said. Their plan is to have multiple games tied to LVL after this game is up and running. As I understand it, they have 12 developers and it seems they've been hiring more and more. I wouldn't be surprised in 6 months to hear a much larger team finishing PsyberX while a smaller team starts to work on the next game.
The nft's would be insane if LVL was a dollar.

Glad to see those animations weren't final. The preview video was kinda meh but now that I know there is still a year of development ahead I have my hopes up.

I am very happy I took the plunge and got some LVL. We will see how it turns out but that could be a massive find.
The video is a wonderful teaser. We will not see the game until the end of the year based upon their estimations. It will be fun to watch what else they start to develop.

Right now, they promise development and they're delivering on that steadily. It's my understanding that, based upon the success of PsyberX during their testing phases, they plan on rolling out other games dependent on LVL that is related to PsyberX
That's my understanding, too. One of the reasons I invested was because of their responsiveness to any and all questions in the discord.
Each week the same amount of Hive bought me less LVL. The first purchases I made were worth 100 - 300K Level. This week? 50K LVL. My LVL investment this weekend doubled. I know yours did too. Congrats!

Sell off tokens. I'm going to bring my Hive down to about 1000, HODL the rest, and buy a little more LVL. I'll stop at about 1.6M level and then HODL everything. From there, I'll just keep content building on Psyber X for a while the way I did with STEM. Rinse and repeat.
I have a feeling I won't be able to buy anymore LVL for a while once I get to 1.6M. The price is pumping.
on a somewhat related topic...is there a place where people can be notified anytime a brand new coin is minted on the HE? It would be helpful to be able to catch these ideas right after they mint when they are their cheapest... 😋
This game look like a hive next big thing, and I'm glad am on this one. Even though I still need more fund to stack more LvL token.
Nice honest review, I think for an unfinished product it looks awesome.

I'm in it for the crates lol Its gonna be pretty cool thought we are going to see a lot of these new games come into focus this year. But I'm all for supporting some new hive projects as we need more splinterlands.
