I got the airdrop, Hive recovery and feeling positive

I don't know if we'll call it luck or not but I got the airdrop. I had a total of 533 eligible packs and was only fortunate to get one pack.

When you think about it in the general scheme of things, my total pack purchased is only a drop in the ocean.

One million packs at $4 per pack were sold and that led to this airdrop. so, statistically, I think I'm among the lucky ones.

If I had more money, I'd have bought a lot more packs than I did so far. Unfortunately, my money comes in tiny bits, and I have to work with what I have when I have it.

At the time of writing, a single unit of the Spirit Hoarder costs roughly $14. It also adds +500 to my collection power so that's a small victory as well.

I'll put it in some battles to see how it performs but judging by its abilities, I'll get more value from the monster when I get it to level 3.

Anyway, the extra positive from this situation is that there is now one new monster for us to find inside Chaos Legion packs.

Anyway, I'll try to add another 100 packs(and ten bonus packs) to my collection during this round of airdrop sales. There's no assurance that 110 packs get me the monster but I have to work with what is available.

Hive growing

Speaking of the available, the price of hive has been looking really fresh lately. The market hit us hard but we still managed to settle at a pretty decent range.

I doubt we'll see any major upward movement any time soon, but barring a monumental clusterfuck in the market, I also don't think we'll be dumping hard again.

I'm always rooting for an upswing because of how it affects all my other activities. A good price of Hive means more earnings for me and that translates to more freed up funds to diversify within the Hive ecosystem.

DEC and SPS looking primed

Speaking of the Hive ecosystem, there's some relatively positive news for SPS and DEC.

The price of the two most important tokens on the Splinterlands ecosystem experienced minor pumps recently. I guess we could say these small pumps are a result of positive moves in the wider market.

In any case, I've been staking all the SPS tokens I earned. We're just a few days past the halfway mark of the SPS airdrop and so far so good, I've been stacking/staking what I can.

My closest target is reaching 10K SPS staked and after that, we'll see what else the future holds for me. I'm very confident about the long term success of the SPS token, particularly with all the marketing and potential listings on the horizon.

I'm also trying to increase the number of voucher tokens I receive every day. At the moment, I receive 0.83 voucher tokens every day. I might need to stake another 1k SPS tokens before I get close to 1 but nothing is promised because there's competition and they're not messing about.

There are only two days left until the end of the season and I'm feeling really good about myself. I've been playing passively, doing my quests whenever I like and I still maxed out my league position.

My main focus now is getting into Diamond 3 but that's proving to be impossible. I have to upgrade.

Anyway, I'm generally just happy about where I am right now and also feeling good about the market as a whole. We're probably not going to be reaching any ATH soon but we're settled at a range that use to be cause for excitement in the past.

As I see it, if this is the floor then the ceiling must be very high. That gives me a reason to be excited about the future and build during the tough times that we're experiencing now.
