I've been actively trying to buy Call of Duty: Vanguard on my PlayStation 4 and enjoy the awesomeness that @dalton shares from time to time. However, every time I try to make a purchase on the Playstation store, my virtual card is rejected.
Due to my inability to make any payments on the Playstation store, I couldn't also get a Playstation Plus account. A PlayStation Plus account enables you to access some fun interactive features in some games I have and I couldn't enjoy them because I didn't have one.
Since my virtual card was constantly getting rejected, I figured that I'd have to try something else. On Playstation, there's also the option for Paypal but that just had the same issue with the virtual card because Paypal just linked to it.
Paypal was also more frustrating because, in Nigeria, we only have limited access to the payment application. SO my only option was to explore the only other payment solution.
I figured that using vouchers would be my only route to buying on Playstation store but where do I get vouchers?
I made a random google search and found a couple of platforms that enable you to buy vouchers directly with your card but I wasn't exactly comfortable with it. I could trust Playstation because it's PlayStation but I'm not about to input my card details on a random site online.
I then had an epiphany to tweak my search to include crypto, and I found a bunch of platforms that facilitate Voucher purchases with crypto.
I decided to go with crypto because as much as I hate the idea of throwing away my crypto, I was willing to risk it. If it turns out to be a bogus platform, I figured I won't have to authorize anything, I'll just be sending crypto and getting voucher code.
I gave the platform a chance and it turned out to work perfectly. If you want to use this platform to buy vouchers with crypto, here's how to do it;
Don't transfer from an exchange account. So if you have crypto in your exchange, withdraw it to your own wallet first and then send.
I'm not going to lie, I feel really good about this discovery as it saves me a lot of time. I had been looking for a way to sort this out for some time and now I have it.
I tested it out with $50 worth of vouchers and paid $50 for the Cross Gen bundle of Call of Duty Vanguard. I'm downloading the game right now and that will take a while but it's all good.
The next purchase I'll be making is a PlayStation Plus subscription. I'm looking forward to playing the free games and all the other fun stuff that comes with the subscription.

Uhh, thats good to know! I have another site, called something like bitfill, someone else on Hive gave me the website, but I haven't used it yet!
Test it out and tell me how it goes.
Ye well. I don't need anything at this point thats the problem xD
But I was thinking to buy a giftcard for apple products and just sell it afterwards to avoid tax :p

This is actually a game changer. I am still buying gift cards on G2A thinking no one is accepting crypto for this stuff yet.
Thanks for the info!

Never heard of G2A. How does that work?
It's one of the oldest marketplaces for "cheaper" games. Pretty much a black market where anyone can sell game codes and gaming-related stuff but you can check their validity based on user feedback.
I only use it because it's the most convenient way for me to fund my PS wallet. Now that crypto is an option I'm sure I'll make a transition.

It's a good thing all these problems have helped people to find alternatives and broaden the field for everyone else. Opportunities in disguise π
Yeah. You know that I could actually start a gift card business with this?
Like I buy with crypto, then flip it for profit in dollars π€
Lol why not? You're truly addicted to investmentπ. Good luck with that
If you have not already you need to listen to today's episode of CryptoManiacs as they mentioned your content in high esteem. I agree with them your posts are great.
That is awesome you were able to use crypto to purchase things on the Playstation network. I was a big Playstation player until I found Splinterlands lol
We have chosen to support your post because you are one of the good promoters of Hive on Twitter based on our Hive Twitter Daily Report.
We appreciate your time and enthusiasm for promoting Hive!
When you say it like this, does it mean the full version we can play?
Was it a hassle to get your psn account?

Psn account is free and easy to create. You may have to lie that you're in a state in the USA though.
When you pay for COD, you can play against users that buy the ps5 and pc versions as well.
