Surpassing 53k Hive Power on my way to Orca status

Even if I wasn't active lately, as this week I have been around and started to get updated again with what's going here, I have just realized that I had passively surpassed the 53,000 Hive Power and now the Orca status looks closer and closer. As the ratio of Hive Power to Vests changes over time due to blockchain inflation, the exact HP required for Orca status is dynamic. I believe that the Orca requirement typically ranges between 55,000 and 60,000 HP, so to be sure my goal is to get to 60k Hive Power. Even so, with the low price of HIVE the Orca doesn't seem to make big splashes in the sea, but I will be glad to get this honorific status which would reflect my devotion to this blockchain.

My journey on the Hive blockchain started in the summer of 2017, so that will soon make about 8 years spent here. Quite a bit of time in which I made acquaintances, friends and people with whom I share common interests. I always felt this place warm and cozy where I could speak my mind (at most moderate thinking as I am quite a peaceful kind of guy) and find common ground with the users and communities from here.

My presence on the Hive blockchain had its ups and downs which can be corelated with the market swings between bull and bear market. But even so, during bear market, it is not like I vanished completely, but motivation decreased. Like even now, I have periods when I come back to Hive with more energy, followed by other periods when I am not around... but that's mostly because life happens. Sometimes I realize that I cannot live at this stage in my life from crypto, thus I need to give more priority to my job and make the most of it.

Getting to 53,262.572 Hive Power even later rather than soon, it is still an accomplishment for me. From here to my goal of 60,000 Hive Power means just 6,737.428 or 12.64% from my current HP balance. That doesn't look like a mission impossible, so if I will be more active with content creation and engagement I could make it maybe this year. I hope that to be sooner that that, but I don't want to put pressure on myself. And as small victories count for my motivation, I will set a smaller goal of reaching 54,000 Hive Power next. That should give me a boost of confidence when reaching it and getting closer to my main objective.

That's all from myself with my enthusiasm for surpassing 53,000 Hive Power on my way to Orca status. Probably some of it comes from the coffee that I just had, but nevertheless I take it. One step at a time, rewards accumulating from here and there and compounding, I think that's the way to approach this. Being more present and consistent would surely help, let's see how much from that I can have. And not the least, I want to know what's your mood about the current state of the Hive blockchain and what's happening in this space...

As of today, you need 61317 HP :)
I created a script to calculate it, as I soon will need it too, just for whale :)
