InLeo - Call me a gentle kitten, but I still can bite and scratch badly

I did it, sooner rather than later and reached the Kitten pride ranking on the InLeo platform. There is a saying in my country "the gentle kitten, scratches badly" so don't get fooled by my status as this is just the beginning. You need to start or restart your journey from somewhere and for me reaching Kitten status was my first level as written in one of my previous posts - InLeo - From zero to hero on my goal to re-achieve Kitten status. And while I have entered the pride club, my next goal is to reach "Newborn Cub" status. What will it take for that? Nothing much, just I need to double my Leo Power from 1,000 to 2,000 and I will be there... so, let's do it!

Starting is the hardest part

The kitten pride rank assumed to reach 1,000 Leo Power, while the next on is the Newborn CUB with a threshold of 2,000 Leo Power. Some might say that the start is the hardest and I think that is right as that's when you make your mind about something and about the goals you want to achieve. Deciding to do something and acting on that is the hardest part in my opinion.

While at this stage I have bought a big portion of LEO from the market, in the next period I will need to base most of my earnings from engagement, curation and content creation - either as long form content through articles or short form content through threads. Anything and everything matters at this stage as all will go towards powering up. Until when you might ask? Until I reach my goal and after that... the next goal and so on until I stop. And when do you stop? Well, that's a good question and for now I can say that my sight is to get at least the Lion status.

Consistency in time is key

While the initial leap to Kitten status was exciting, keeping up the momentum is essential to move further up the ranks. The goal is to accumulate more Leo Power over time, which isn’t about a one time push but rather consistency and persistence. Every post, every engagement, and every bit of content contributes incrementally towards the target. It’s easy to think that reaching a new level might happen overnight, but building up Leo Power is more of a steady, consistent climb. Regular engagement is not just about rewards but also about establishing a presence in the community. With each small step, I’m pushing a bit closer to that next rank, and the journey becomes a part of my daily routine. This consistency is what will take me from Kitten to Newborn Cub and beyond.

Lion status and beyond

Achieving Kitten status is just a stepping stone on a larger path, and while Newborn Cub is the next milestone, my bigger vision is reaching Lion status. Every goal achieved fuels the fire to reach the next, and along the way, I’m gaining experience, learning from other community members, and growing in confidence. Reaching Lion status may take time, but each step feels like progress and that's motivation to keep on going.

While my current Leo Power balance was standing at 926 and by powering up another 168.11 LEO, that got me to 1094.11 Leo Power. And with that I got the Kitten status and while I am still gentle, don't think for a minute that I cannot bite or scratch badly. Try me and you'll see. 😀 Joke aside, it is a great feeling to reach this first pride rank and as I previous said my journey has just re-started. I will continue to grow one step at a time as I have a lot of energy from my kitten status and I will see you there at the top. That's it for me and in the end I can just say...
