Hive HPUD - Almost missed it, but powered up on the last mile

It is 1st of May 2026 and in my country we celebrate the "National Day of Work" by not working and having a holiday instead. 😃 A lot of BBQ, beer and joy is floating everywhere. People are having a long weekend and many of them are making trips to seaside or to the mountains. The entire country is like full of bees going from one flower to the other. And I must say that today I did the same, went to my family and we had an amazing BBQ. Only tomorrow I will be taking a trip to the seaside, just to avoid the crowd. But until that happens I wanted to check what's new on the Hive blockchain and I've realized that today is also Hive Power Up Day #HPUD. And on the last mile I will be joining that as well and do a power up.

With my balance standing at 53,781.345 Hive Power and 114.365 Hive liquid in my wallet, I will be powering everything I've got. Not too much, not too little, but as the phrase saying it is important to participate.

And after the power up I have reached 53,895.710 which gets me closer and closer to the 54k mark. While I am hunting to get to Orca status, I feel that I am moving a bit slowly but I think that I will get there sooner or later. My hope is to make it there by the end of the year and once the crypto space will show better signs, my account should have more influence.

Almost forgot about another HPUD, but I am happy it didn't happen this time. Everything counts and I like proving myself in such blockchain movements on Hive. I feel that we move as one as a community. And this is quite important to support this ecosystem and by doing so to support our future on this platform.
