As I've started the day, I’ve been down with a bad flu and honestly, I can barely do anything. My body aches, my head feels like it's filled with cement, and even getting out of bed is a challenge. Normally, I love being active, whether it’s working or contributing to my favorite platforms like Hive, but this flu has me sidelined. It is good at least that I can work from home and while I didn't have to take a day off, I still face some challenges in accomplishing my tasks.
Work has been hit hard. I’m struggling to keep up with tasks that usually come easy, and even thinking straight feels like a monumental effort. Every time I try to push through, my body reminds me that I need rest. Taking a nap here and there helps, but I still need to show progress and have what to say tomorrow during the Daily Scum. I guess that there will be some downside due to my health, but as I did some previous work more than I need I can compensate that.
And let’s not even talk about my presence on social media — it’s basically nonexistent right now. Hive, where I usually love interacting and posting, feels like a distant memory. I’ve barely logged in, and I miss the community, but right now, I just don’t have the energy to be there. Still, I've decided to drop a short post about my fly and the fact that I simply do nothing. A lot of pills, tea and spray keep me floating.
It’s frustrating because I’m usually not someone who sits still for long, but this flu? It’s got me at its mercy. Hopefully, I'll bounce back soon, but for now, I’m just trying to take it one day at a time. If you know about any miraculous recipe or anything that can help with the flow, I am willing to try anything at this point. That's it as my energy goes to zero once again.

Adequate rests would probably help too and drink a lot of water as well.
Did both of them abundantly, thank you!
I hope you recover soon. I think pills and hot fluids can help out, if you try. By the way don't worry about the days you're missing on social media even on hive. Health first then business. It's going to be alright. I'm anticipating your active return to hive and I hope it happens soon. Have a great day.
Hot drinks was a good tip - I had few teas with honey and lemon and I think truly helped.
"A lot of pills, tea and spray" - please don´t forget vitamins i.e. fresh fruits and vegetables, probably more important than "pills".
Good advise, I bought some oranges, lemons and also some vitamins to help out. I feel better way before I would usually with only pills.
I hope you get fine soon!
Thank you, third day now and I quite of feel better.
Nice!💪
