I'll have to give this a try ! I frequently find that by the time I've gone through doing curation, I've run out of time to actually post anything. The only downside of tools like this is that I'll have to make sure I don't get too lazy to actually read people's posts and comment.

I only use it with users that I know and trust. Now that I am not on Hive as much as I used to be, I don't want to miss curating any of the users I interact with. I know what you mean, it is easy just to set and forget. But in reality if that was the case, when that happens then I will have given up on Hive.
