Reviewing X.com Progress: A Weekly Analysis

Another week passed by and its time to see how it has been with X.com and I think Sunday is a good day to review it. I started the first post about X on Sunday and now I believe it was a good choice because I have more time on weekends. Although Saturday is also good but Sunday is better and going forward I am going to follow the same for my weekly X.com progress. The more we get deeper, it helps us learn many new things and now I realise that growing here also is not an easy task but there are many points to be considered. The algorithm Twitter follows is a bit complicated but if we understand a bit of it then it can help us.

I applied for Twitter Premium and Blue Tick in September month. Its been 2 months for the premium subscription and now I am trying to put more effort into this. I have posted every day with consistency and this is the second week for my consent posting. Its important to stay consistent and if not more then at least one post is necessary for the algorithm to keep the account on the active list. I am not so sure but possible it pushes more for the accounts that are active and show up every day with some posts.

This week's Progress (Analytics)

Here I am with the analytics for this week and you can see red in 3 metrics but the rest are good. Probably its not easy to keep green on everything and its fine because the other components are good. This week I mostly posted long-form tweets with some images and I think its good to have the image on the post. People like to see more tweets with images as it attracts more people to visit.

• Nice increase in engagement this week and this is one of the most important. Likes are good but comments are even better.
• Engagement rate is up by 155%
• Replies have gone up by 218%
• New followers count also increased and this week 10 new followers were added.
• Other components- likes, reposts and media views are in green colour too which means there is an increase on these parts.

A total of 8.7k impressions were achieved this week and daily its 1.2k impressions per day. 31st Oct was the best day with higher numbers in this entire week.

Top Tweet

Here is the top tweet for the week, it was posted on 31st October and this has got 1252 impressions along with quite a good number of engagements. This was a long-form post about Web 3.0 and I explained various points in this. Web3 and crypto are in trend and we can utilise the opportunity to bring more attention and this is the goal we are trying to achieve.

Promotion Experiment

This week I also tried an experiment with tweet promotion but seems there are some different setups in different countries. twitter has different tweet promotion policies in different countries and for India they have 2 plans. The first can be done with a minimum of $100 for the long-form post but there is no clarity if we can customise for different geography and audience. the second option is for short-form posts with limited characters and it starts at $25 but there is limited content.

I tried doing it with a short post and also promoted after filing the card information but Twitter support is not good and I had to stop it. There is no point in spending money if it does not serve purpose and Twitter seriously needs to improve its support.

I will continue to stay consistent and post more long-form posts. I am not sure if I will be able to post more but I will be trying my best to post one post in day and engage with others. This is getting better and more fun and I hope that over time it will get even better. It certainly requires focus, attention, effort and consistency. I am trying to grab as much as I can and even learn about some tips that can help me grow my X account faster.
