Rebellion General Sale Coming Closer

Rebellion is the latest version of the booster pack in the splinterlands game and the presale for this version was started within 30 days having 500K packs in total. The response was good and especially in the beginning it was fantastic when more than 200K packs were sold in a few hours. There was a slowdown in the sale for some time but on the last day, we saw more excitement on buying which was great. Now that pre-sale is over and the countdown for the general sale is on. The presale was a good opportunity to buy the pack with some additional benefits along with some discount because of the low price for the Dec token. Many people bought the pack and they were able to get these additional benefits along with the promotional card.

I hope most people are aware that this time we had two promotional cards as part of the presale benefit and this has happened for the first time in any pre-sale in the game. The last-minute FOMO was good with the rebellion presale and I could see that more people are buying the card because they do not want to miss out on this opportunity. Often it happens when people are not able to make it in the beginning and because of that, they wait for the last day when they can grab more and the same thing happened this time. I was also able to buy some packs and will be buying more later on however I am excited for the official launch that is going to happen in December.

General Sale

The general sale is scheduled to start from 5th December onwards you can also say that it is the official launch for the rebellion pack and anyone would be able to buy the pack with no such limitations. However, it will not be offering any additional benefits because that was part of the pre-sale and in general you can buy packs with any number of packs you want. While there will not be any promotional benefits but the bonus benefits will be there. There has been a standard practice followed by the game where if you buy 100 or more packs then you'll be getting some bonus packs. Although there are some slabs if you fall into particular slabs then accordingly you'll be provided the extra packs.

Almost everyone is excited about the official launch that is going to happen on the 5th of December and as of now, we are left with about 11 days for this event. With the official launch, we are also going to have the option to open the pack and see what cards we are going to get. Isn't it exciting because we are going to get the pack getting open in front of us and we'll be able to use these cards on the battleground? These cards will be part of the Modern League however with wild also you can use with wild. I play mostly in the wild because of the collection of cards I have and still, I'm excited because now I'll be getting one more addition to my collection and I will also be trying to increase my collection from the Rebellion edition.

DEC Market Price

The price for DEC tokens is dropping which is good for the people who are going to buy the pack because this can get them some discount since the token will be used as a payment option. Even in the P sale people were able to get a good discount on the buy price and seems like they are going to have the same in the general sale also. The current token price is almost at the discount of 10% but if it goes further down then the discount percentage is also going to be increased which I think is a good idea from the buyer point of view.

It's better to pay with a DEC token and grab these benefits and if you buy in good quantities then you are going to get two benefits altogether. I am planning to buy some packs and for sure I'll be using the DEC token as the payment option now since it is going to be part of the general sales I will be waiting for the right price to buy more tokens that I can use to buy more rebellion packs.

I did buy more than 600 pack in the Chaos Legion edition and still holding with the hope that price will revive but I don't know when is it going to happen. I expect that with rebellion things will be better because the new cards are introduced and possibly this will also increase the demand for the cars in the market. Also with lands, I hope the card utility will improve because probably these cards will be used in certain ways on lands but I'm not sure how the use case will be post the launch of lands in the game.

SPS Staking APR

This is my stake for his peers and as of now, I'm holding more than 141K SPS tokens with an APR of almost 15%. There is a slight dip in APR but still it looks quite stable now. There is a market for sps delegation where we can earn some additional reward by earning this APR and it is good for those who are not playing the game. The SPS price has also gone up a little bit but still, I think it is a good time to buy more and I am doing the same because I am trying to achieve my immediate goal to have 150K SPS. The goal is bigger in the long term because I want to have 200K and more afterwards but for now having 150K is the immediate target that I'm trying to achieve.

I hope that by the end of this year, I will be able to make it to 150K and if there are good opportunities in the market then it is also possible that I get it done before the end of the year. Holding more sps is beneficial in the game because if you are a player then you can get a higher reward multiplier and if in case you are not a player then also it is good because you earn APR along with some additional reward for your sps power to someone else. As I said there is a market which you can utilise to delegate your power and this will get you some additional reward with no impact on your standard APR for keeping your token in staked form.
