Doctor Blight is a worth Buying Monster card in Splinterlands

We need more powerful cards in the game to win more battles and with a higher winning ratio, we can grow our rating faster and higher. There are multiple cards in the game that we can buy to improve the gaming experience and mostly legendary cards are the best option to go for. Usually legendary makes our gameplay better but we need to pay more to own these cards and its because of more demand. The card prices in the market are determined by the supply and demand and legendary cards are in high demand so we need to pay more to own these cards.

Although there is a way that we can use the card by going through the rental market I do not like it much because it is always good to own the cards, especially this time when the prices are low. I am not saying that the rental market is not a good option instead my thought is that I prefer to own the card that I want to play more with and this is the reason why I prefer to invest on some valuable cards in the game. the card I'm going to talk about in this post is one of the powerful legendary cards and it was launched as part of some promotion. As far as the rental market is concerned I would say that it is a great option to go far if you do not want to invest in the cards and these days you are going to get more benefits because the cards are available at a low rental price.

Doctor Blight

This is a promotional legendary card that was revealed during the launch of Chaos Legion Booster Pack Edition. This edition was released in 2021 so its been two years of the release of the card. Since it was part of the promotion so we have no way that we can get the cards from the booster packs instead the only option we have with us is to buy from the market. this card was given to the people who purchased Chaos Legion packs at that time and I'm sure they must be happy that they have got a powerful gift from the game as part of this fantastic promotional event.

I also purchased chaos legion packs during the promotion and was lucky to get cards. As of now, I have 3 Dr Blight monster cards that are combined so the one I have is level two with 3 bcx. The One I have is here which I have shared through the snapshot and since it is labelled two cards so it has got 3 abilities. As per the market price the value is approximately $100 and I want to buy three more cards so that I can upgrade it to the next level which is going to be even more powerful with level 3.

It has got 3 abilities as of now on this level as mentioned below-

• Affliction
• Camouflage
• Poison

Market price

I checked the price at https://monstermarket.io for the standard and gold foil version. It shows that for standard per BCS cost is almost $33 and for gold, it is $273 however its applicable if we buy the high-level card.

Let's check out the price we need to pay if we buy the single BCX or 3 BCX in standard and used monstermarket for the same. I like using this card because its UI is user-friendly and it pays me cashback when I buy cards. Cashback is paid in the form of DEC tokens and its always good. Here the price for 1 BCX is $66.90 and so this price is payable if we want to buy a single bcx.

Now I have sorted the price by per BCX and here we can see that per bCX cost is $35 but its available only if we buy high-level cards. Its a level 4 card with 11 BCX and its price is $385.
As I said that I need 3 more cards so if I go with that then I can buy a level 2 card with 3 BCX and its price is 203.77. I am not sure why my card price is showing as just $98 whereas here its much higher.

I remember that this price was less than 40$ a month back and now it seems that I missed the opportunity. I should have purchased this card at that time and I believe just $420 approximately I could have this level two card in my account so after the combination by now I must have been holding the level three card with powerful abilities. I was expecting that the price would go further down and sometimes because of greediness we missed the opportunity and now I'm not sure whether it is going to be the same again.

Now there are two options left that I can use. First I can place the bid for my price and weight if that can be filled later and secondly, I can keep a close tab on the price to see how it is moving and once it is down or come in my range then I should buy it. Needless to say that it is one of the most powerful cards in the game and if you are not holding it then surely you are missing the create component in the game and you should surely have it. it can be on different levels I believe but even on level one it is a good addition to have and it's because it has got great abilities but the mana cost is quite low which makes it a powerful gem in the game.
