1500 HP - My biggest power up this year
Last month, I established a new record on HPUD by powering up 1200 Hive. Today, I managed to top that and did my highest power up so far with 1500 Hive staked.
I probably won't reach my goals but I'm getting closer than I expected. I set my goals in December 2021, I wanted to reach 35'000 Hive Power by the end of 2022 and I also wanted to have 10'000 HBD in my savings account.

Since the moment I set these goals, 341 days have passed. This represents 93% of the total duration between goal setting and final date. Since I have reached only 76% and 72% of my goals, I'm of course well behind schedule but the gap hasn't become bigger in the last months. Which is rather nice.
This month my HBD increased by 302, which is above average. The same can be said for my overall increase of HP which was 1859.
A Total of 1500 Hive Powered up
As I said above, I powered up a record amount of hive power. The reason why I could do such a big power up was related to Splinterlands once again. When I heard about the trouble of the company and the letting go of 45% of the staff, I came to the conclusion that I had too much money invested in the game. I love Splinterlands and I will continue to play the game but contrary to Hive, there is a company behind the game and if this company goes belly up, I believe that my assets in the game will at least lose a lot of value, if not become totally worthless. For this reason, I wanted to reduce my exposure and decided to liquidate my positions in the liquidity pools related to the game. I swapped all for hive and it freed close to 1000 Hive.
Only 9 posts written this month
During the past month, I wasn't very creative or productive and I managed only to produce 9 posts. My average is between 10 and 14 posts per month. So this is definitely not satisfactory. Hopefully, I will manage to make more posts in December.

I would say I'm quite good at discipline but for example I totally suck at trading lol. We can't be strong everywhere :-)

Wow! Congratulations on the 1500 HIVE Power-up! That's a huge amount! You have almost doubled your HivePower this year and that's an awesome result too... Doing HIVE and HBD accumulation at the same time is very difficult... I didn't dare to do it... Maybe next year I will push HBD instead of HIVE...

That gave me the idea about HIVE and HBD growth... HIVE accumulation in the bear market and HBD accumulation in the bull market... I hope that the next year, I will accumulate HBD :)

I powered up 50 Hive and it's too bad that you are too far off from reaching your goals for the year. As for Splinterlands, I understand the risk so I have been taking some profits every now and then using some of my LP positions. It would still hurt me if Splnterlands went away but I don't think it will happen for a while given all the sales.

That's still a huge amount of HP and HBD imo. 🤔 Increasing 12.299 HP + 3.074 HBD is good.

Well I don't believe that the company is in big trouble since they took the necessary steps but for my own asset distribution, I felt it was better to diversify a bit more.
Congrats Achim! I haven't done any p-up yet. Probably I'll just do with whatever I have on hand. around 50 hive. I think it's a good start point for me, especially because (ashamed to say this, but) I still don't understand what the benefits are lol

Next year I'll focus more on accumulating HIVE. My attention was on HBD so far. Hope HBD will help to accumulate more HIVE. I don't think the bull run rings the bell any time soon. So we have time to be prepared. 😀

Your HBD stack is growing nicely. I had some stables lying around on a few chains and just decided to bring them over to HIVE. low-mid 0.30s is a bargain in my opinion and I'm stacking for the next couple of years anyway. turned some BNB into HIVE so I should do around 500HP powerup.

I also haven't been super consistent with posting, but I'm definitely improving if I look at Q4 2022 as a whole. I think I'll be able to be much more consistent in 2023.
I really like to see my HBD stack evolving. Just the monthly interests help me to make big steps. I will definitely also need to be more consistent with posting :-). Thanks for stopping by!

The value of my main deck is about the same than my Hive and HBD combined and there are two more decks... So I believe it's good not to have all eggs in the same basket :-)
