Good evening, I really wanted to write about this great movie because I think it was included in the conversation of the best things Marvel did. The surprising thing is that they had gotten so far with unknown characters. The Guardians comic ended in 2010 because they weren't selling enough. With the success of the cinematic universe and already entering phase two, they began to look for new titles to bring to the big screen and noticed that even though Guardians of the Galaxy had few sales, all those comics had good reviews. This indicated that the few people who ended up reading them ended up liking the story.
They weren't actively selling because they were competing against much more popular characters, so Marvel chose to take the risk of investing 200 million dollars to make a movie about these unknowns. The best person to direct it is someone who is used to managing heroic teams. Director James Gunn, in my opinion, would become one of the most notorious directors of the decade with a very marked style with his bizarre colors, imperfect characters, and lots and lots of retro music. And that's what I'm going to talk to you about now.
"Hooked on a Feeling" - Blue Swede
"Go All the Way" - Raspberries
"Spirit in the Sky" - Norman Greenbaum
"I'm not in love" - 10cc
"I Want You Back" - Jackson 5
"Come and Get Your Love" - Redbone
"Cherry Bomb" - The Runaways
"Escape (The Piña Colada Song)" - Rupert Holmes
"Ain't No Mountain High Enough" - Marvin Gaye & Tammi Terrell
Well, gentlemen, that's all for now. These are the songs that appear in Guardians of the Galaxy Part 1, which are all really good. Tomorrow I'll post part 2 and part 3 the next day. So tomorrow there will be more and better.
