My friend had this series in her phone for months and I asked for it when I had nothing to see and wanted to see something new. Honestly, I didn't like the title of the series but I preferred to go for it than the incomplete "My Sweet Monster" she had. Well, I decided to see this one and I was like "How did I almost miss this?"
Ever seen a movie you wish to rewatch without the memory of having seen it before? This is one of such series, I doubt I'll be able to see this series again without just focusing on my favourite scenes because I can still remember most scenes in it. It's a series that had me hooked from start to finish with it's unique storyline.
"W Two Worlds Apart" is a 16 episode Korean drama series released in the year 2016 starring Lee Jong Suk from the other series like "Big Mouth" and "Pinocchio" and Han Hyo-joo from "Happiness" and the short movie "The Pirates: The Last Royal Treasure". They are all movies I've seen and I can say the two are great in their roles.
The series is about a girl whose father created W, a webtoon and discovers that the webtoon is actually a world of it's own. She somehow goes into the world from her real world to save the main character of the webtoon. The main character falls in love with her, finds out his life is being written by a webtoon creator and visits the real world.
It's a whole fantasy but a lesson filled and romantic series that would have you hooked and interested in what's not real. I kinda like that I learnt more into how webtoons are created and what the life of those who do the job looks like. The daughter of the webtoon creator works in a hospital, I like that they didn't ignore that.
The comedy on this one is worth mentioning, you can imagine how disbelieving it would be to find out your story characters are actual humans living in another world similar. I appreciated the role of the webtoon creator assistant in the storyline, he kinda showed the expressions viewers wanted in reaction to the story.
The romance part wasn't lacking at all especially with the two being new at giving and recieving love to someone who goes in and out of their own world. The suspense and thrills will keep you wanting more until the last episode, I kept wishing it didn't had to end but I wanted to see the end. Yes, that feeling doesn't come from many series.
Even though it's more of a fantasy, it doesn't change the exciting feeling one gets from seeing a storyline that can only exist on TV. I can't lie that the male lead didn't play a bigger role in making me love this series, talk of a perfect face for a webtoon character. The role of the villain got me scared for the main character though.
This series gave me another reminder that I shouldn't judge the book by it's cover. I would never had thought the series would be as interesting as I found it to be, I remember skipping this series for many others I've seen until I decided to see it. If you're like me, you might want to stop holding it off because you're missing out.
I'm not satisfied with how things turned out for the webtoon creator but it kinda makes sense for one who took too much time to correct his mistakes, the series actually ended happily with a tiny bit of a lie which I'm sure other viewers won't have issues with it or maybe it's just me. Will you check out the series? Have you seen it already?

Oh yes! Totally. I bet you'll love the webtoon aspect of it even more 😁
When will you review A judge from hell? 😌
😂😂😂
How did you know I've seen it already?
Well, it should be the next series I'll review 😌
Because I've seen it, and I know that if I had seen it, you definitely would have done that before me, and there's a way you review movies that I'm trying to learn from. So, I wait, for it, mentor.
Meanwhile, I am a bad mentee sha.
