The "Movie Queue" Excitement: My Upcoming Watchlist

For someone who finds it so much fun to watch movies, especially Korean series, there is another level of excitement I get whenever I go through my "to-watch" list for the next movie or series to download. I don't know if this happens to others too, I find it hard to move on from a good watch.

To avoid being torn on what next to watch after a possible good watch, I decided to have a list of well recommended movies and some that I find their storylines interesting. Even though this also makes me wonder later which to download first, it gives me the ease to decide on a movie quickly.

I've been using Moviebox app for a while now and it has made keeping a watch list and downloading easier for me. This is the app and the number of movies I have to check out on my list, I may not see all of them at last as I keep adding whenever I come across another interesting recommendation but it's fine hehe.

Here are the first five kdrama series I'm looking to start watching soon, they are all from this year release and I'm so hyped about them for one reason or the other. A part of me don't even want to rush to see them yet, to keep that excitement going you know but I will see them anyways hah.

Note: This is not a review of the series mentioned, it is just what I think and my expectations when I start seeing them. I'd appreciate your thoughts if you've seen any of them already, add to the excitement or reduce the hype I may have heard about them if you can lol.

Motel California

This might not be the first I'll see among the list but Motel California is one I'm looking forward to seeing because of it's main casts. I'm interested in the storyline because it is giving the vibe of "Love Next Door" and "Welcome To Samdal-ri" two rom-com I enjoyed.

When Life Gives You Tangerines

Everything about When Life Gives You Tangerines is exciting for me, I bet I'll see it even if the reviews were bad because I've been a huge fan of the female lead and I love how the male lead brings his characters to live with his emotions as I've seen in other series.

My Dearest Nemesis

I'll say the My Dearest Nemesis and office romance setting is what brought this series to my list and I can't wait to see how another love story unfolds in this one. Office romance with good comedy has always made a good watch for me anytime.

Buried Hearts

Away from all the sweet, cute and lovely storylines I plan to see, I'm interested to see Buried Hearts that's more of a tragedy and revenge with all the thrills and suspense that would come with it. I'm specifically hyped about "Park Hyun-sik" role.

Undercover High School

What's a Korean drama list without a storyline based in high school and I love the unique storyline in Undercover High School where it would be more than just a high school story, I'm excited about the setting and the role of Seo Kang-joon, one of my favourite actors.

The list is actually long but those are definitely getting downloaded or streamed first before the others and a few others are Study Group, DNA Lover, Gangnam B-side and Weak Hero 2. All are Korean series but not all are of this year. Which of them have you seen? Are you hyped for any?
