The Fault In Our Stars "đ‘»đ’†đ’‚đ’“đ’‹đ’†đ’“đ’Œđ’Šđ’đ’ˆ đ‘ș𝒄𝒆𝒏𝒆𝒔" Movie Review

Released June in the year 2014... Yeah, another old movie... I found another old release I wish I had seen it a long time ago after seeing it some days ago.

Tearjerking Scenes? I figured it'd be perfect for the title but this movie has more amazing scenes than what we will tag Tearjerking. Ever seen a movie after you're being told that it is interesting but you feel they didn't hype it well enough because you find the movie more interesting? Yeah, I felt that about this movie.

From a best seller book, a coming of age romance and a storyline with Cancer, life and death as focus

Sounds like a sad movie, doesn't it? Yeah, I also thought so too before I started to see it. With recommendations, I was like "Why not just see it anyways?" and I love what I saw so that brought me here to give reasons you should also check it out. First off, it's the title I find so captivating and thoughtful giving me something amazing to look forward to even before I actually get to the movie.

"The Fault In Our Stars" reminds me of two movies I've seen, maybe you've seen them or not but they are "Everything Everything" and "Midnight Sun". If you've seen both movies, you could already guess what you're expecting to see in this movie and what to except at the end. But let me share something unique about this movie, It is the positivity and less tragic end it has

The other movies also had a less tragic end but this one actually didn't make me feel like, it could have ended in a more better way because it actually ended just the way it should to me and for that, I'd say it was a good watch.

Storyline of the movie? Two sick teenagers met at support group, fell in love, learnt more on coping with their situations and embarked on a journey to meet a writer of their favourite book... It didn't end just at that.

I admire Augustus, (starred by Ansel Elgort) so much in this movie. I can still remember the first movie I saw of him which was "Baby Driver" I've been a fan of his movies since then, didn't know he played a role on this movie before that but I'm glad to have seen him starred on this one.

Augustus played the role of the 17 year old boy who has cancer that led to the amputation of his right leg but still see life as fair and a happy place to live in. He went with his almost blind friend to a support group and met a beautiful girl who also seem to find him interesting too.

They connected so easily and he is bent on making her one wish come true. I know it would be weird for me to add here that I love his smile and how easy he was taking life with his friend and his love, as if there was no health problem.

How he went from the so cheerful and in love teen to a very sick and helpless teen was tearjerking but worth seeing.

As for the other lead role, Hazel (starred by Shailene Woodley), she seemed so different from what I knew her to be as in the "Divergent series" where she played the action role character. She is an amazing actor and played her role well on this one too.

Hazel is a 16 years old girl who has cancer that affects her breathing ability, almost died at childhood but now has to live with breathing aids. She is made to attend a support group after her parents suspected her to be depressed because she reads a book over and over. And at the support group, she meets Augustus whose cheerful and carefree life played a positive effect on her life.

The movie isn't as sad as it may appear on the storyline because we got to see some funny scenes, a tour around Amsterdam and the reclusive author who I almost hated but couldn't at the end. I also liked how the parents of Hazel and Augustus were after making their lives easier for them even with the health difficulties they were having, the way they allowed them to love each other in their condition and the support they got to visit Amsterdam.

This review won't be complete if I don't mention Augustus friend, Isaac (starred by Nat Wolff) who was also with a condition that led to blindness. The part where they had to perform an eulogy rehearsal for the dying Augustus almost got me tearing up but I picked some really cool and encouraging words from that scene.

Isaac said Even if I'm offered robot eyes, I still would refuse to see because I can imagine seeing a world with Augustus in it

Hazel also gave her own speech that only taught her more about life and death as she had learned from being with Augustus, it was only unfair that their love story didn't last but in her words, she said...

Augustus, you gave me love infinity how beautiful!

Yeah, not the fun fun kinda movie but it is also worth seeing if you'd like to. I'll rate the movie a 8/10 and would recommend that you see it. It's amazing how reviews says the book is much better to read but having to see the movie after reading the book is much more better.

How I love romantic movies. I will definitely see it as long as it does not have a sad ending. I am kinda the happily ever after woman.

Haha that's cool, there are a lot of happy endings movies

It is a beautiful film. When I started watching it I thought it was she who would have a tragic ending. I was surprised by the ending, my anticipation was not accurate. Great message is contained in this film. Thank you for sharing it.

Haha I thought I was the only who thought that, it's a good movie really

You’re right about the movie not being sad. I initially resisted watching cos I thought it was sad but I was glad I watched😂.

You’re not late to the party at all. You’ve peaked my interest in this movie again with this wonderful review đŸ”„

A coincidence!
My sister keeps going on and on about the novel. She prefers those to movies. Told me there's a movie adaptation and that the story is a blend of tragedy and sweetness, "Catharsis," is what she calls it.

This review cuts it a bit for me, so, I might as well check the movie out.

And, so, BABY starred in this one? Interesting 😀😀

0.00014317 BEE

Haha yeah, I wish I had read the book before I saw the movie actually.

Yes, Baby starred in it so you'll love it 😃

I like the plot, the truth is that this type of film makes us see life from another perspective and invites us to reflect, I hope to see it with my wife at some point.

It's from 2014, it's not that old and at least I haven't seen it hehe.

0.00014218 BEE
