Love at First Sight to Forever: "Sunrise in Heaven" Review
Believe me, the title of this movie but not as beautiful as the story you'll find in it. And to think it's based on an inspiring true story makes it even more beautiful to see. It's a love story that few get to experience and actually fight to keep it till forever. The movie is also called "Forever love".
It was recommended to me while I was in search of movies based on true life stories and I'm excitedly recommending it to whoever likes movies like this too, especially "Love". The story in this movie felt almost unreal, particularly because of how the love in it started and continued, "love at first sight" that led to forever.
"Sunrise in Heaven" is a romance drama movie, 1hr 25min released in the year 2020 starring Caylee Cowan, Travis Burns and Corbin Bernsen. The story is written by Jan Hurst, which is the name of the lead female in the story. That shows that the story is based on true life and written by the person who had the experience and shared.
The story starts with two old couple riding on the road as they talk about their post-retirements future, they get into a serious accident and the next scene is in the hospital. The man is at death's way and the wife slightly wounded, worried and crying as her children come to be with her. She starts to reminisce how they began.
The story then takes us back and forth to show the live of a young lady who has an over-protective father and is against her dating a soldier. She falls in love with a new recruits anyways and they have to win his approval amidst his constant and even rude disapproval. Their love stood the test and got them to old age.
While I may doubt a little that their love felt too easily builded upon, considering how hard it was for them to get the father's approval. I can totally get what it means to actually being in love for every reason and no reason, the guy did love the woman more and that helped them in the testing.
I also love the faces of the main characters, especially the lady. The beautiful eyes, calm voice and composed character to show that indeed, she had a father that was very intentional about her. It turns out the father is just a very loving one who was loving his daughter how he knows best.
The movie is a good one, the chemistry between the couple even in old age was beautiful to watch. Even though it ended in a tragedy, it is still a beautiful story of love because death is the only thing that can separate love. And I really love that they passed the love to their children, it was obvious in their acts. I'll rate the movie 7.5/10.

That's rare in real life and even rarer in movies. But when it's based on a true story, it hits different. It makes you believe it's actually possible.
I haven't seen "Sunrise in Heaven," but the way you described it makes me want to check it out. A love story that's not just beautiful but real that's worth watching.
