Nature is really wonderful and full of surprises. ☺️
Yesterday afternoon the weather was fine, the sun was almost setting so me and my beautiful wife decided to go for a nature walk. ☺️
(guys, I need to mention my beautiful wife because she is looking at me while I am making this blog 😂)
There is an area near our house where there are lots of trees and lush greenery. While we were walking through the tall trees i saw an old tree trunk on the ground. Some fungi are growing from its rotting bark. So i took photos of them to show here in this community.
This one is the biggest of them all. It's about 4 to 5 inches. It's thin and has a fan shaped cap. There are white, yellow, and orange strips. The edge is a thin white strip. It looks dry. I think this kind of mushroom is not edible.

Next are the small ones just about an inch. It has almost the same color as the larger one but a bit darker. Brownish orange but the edges are white. Then, i saw a few ones at the back, which are totally black and dry. I think those are the mature ones. These are not edible as well.

I can't provide the exact names of these mushrooms. I tried to search online but i can't find the exact one. If anyone knows what they are called, please feel free to let me know in the comments.
I live in the philippines and these mushrooms are common in my country. They usually grow on rotting trees on shaded areas like under tall trees, thick bushes or anywhere where there is no direct sunlight.
Thank you so much and have a wonderful day.
The pictures and texts are all mine..
The first photo was edited on canva..
