Everybody talks about what mothers do for their family, but nobody really talks about what mothers themselves need....(stay with me)

A mother is expected to be strong always...(right?). >To be patient. >To keep pushing even when she is tired and weak. >To take care of everybody, >remember everything, >fix every small problem, and still manage to smile.

But who is taking care of the woman who takes care of everybody?.... that's the question.

She needs someone to look at her and ask, "Are you really okay?" and wait to hear her true answer....for real.

She needs rest without feeling guilty. She needs a break without thinking she has failed.

She needs to be truly listened to, not just heard and ignored or just listening to others, what about her?

People forget that being a mother does not stop her from being a woman. She still has emotions.., dreams.., fears.., and those weak moments. . E get as e be She Still someone's child and being a mother doesn't stop that.

I am not yet a mother ooo, so I will not pretend that I know exactly how it feels. But I have seen mothers give their all to the people they love, quietly, without making noise, without anyonee even noticingg.

And it makes me think, how often do we rememmber to care for them too?

Sometimes the best thingg you can do for a mother is not to ask her what she neeeds.Just show up for her.

Help her cook. Check on her. Give her a tight hugg. Let her sleep small. Tell her that she is trying and she is doing ❤️‍🩹.... Abeg, let her know you see her effort...(simple!)

Mothers deserve care not only on Mother's Day, but on normal Tuesdays, on stressful morningss, on tiring nights, and on those dayys when she feels like she has nothingg left inside.

She deserves love even when she keeps saying "I am fine."...(of they always pretend they are)

She may be the one everybodyy runs to when there is trouble, but that does not mean she does not need someone to run to as well.(note that)

Sometimes the strongest woman in the house just needs someone to hold her and say, "You don't hv to be strong todayy. Just rest."
