Surviving the Tiny Titans

Kids? Those little humans will drive you to a point where you’d lose your mind!!!
All you see when you look at them is pure innocence and cuteness overload, but don’t be fooled, they are WARRIORS, relentless ones to say the very least!!

I babysat my friend's kids yesterday, and all I can say is WOW! Right now I have so much respect for all our beloved and dedicated mothers out there. Yesterday, I saw and I conquered.

What started like a sweet reunion turned into a clash of the titans. I screamed, ran, begged, danced, and did every single thing to appease these little ones. They truly are a handful!

I got to realize that giving these little ones what they want isn’t even a permanent solution. It’s only temporary! Once they get bored, you’d have to figure out the next exciting thing to keep them busy, and you must be prepared or be ready to face the consequences.

My prayer points yesterday were “please fall asleep”, “please don’t wake up”. Yes, I had to involve God as it was just too much for His daughter to handle alone.

You know, we aunties don’t really know what goes on behind the scenes. Since we occasionally visit with the mums present, we only get to experience a little of their tantrums, but being left alone to carry out mummy duties? It’s crazyyyyyy!!!!

Mothers are truly heroes, and whoever questions what a mother brings to the table needs to be flogged because they are the freaking TABLE!!!!!

As much as my friends' children drove me crazy yesterday, I still had an amazing time and would not have had it any other way!!
I finally concluded that taking care of kids must be a special skill that not everyone knows they have until they’re put on the spot.
