Zaza’s First Monthsary Theme Inspired by Our Teacher’s Day Celebration

We celebrated my niece Zaza’s first month, and through it was just a smile celebration, it turned out to be such a heartwarming memory for all of us. Her mom and dad aren’t really into themed photoshoots or expensive setups, but as a proud aunt, I wanted to do something special – something simple but meaningful.

While thinking of what theme to do, I noticed that my mother-in-law’s house had lots of books and encyclopedia neatly arranged on the shell. Then an idea came to me, why not a “little teacher” theme? It felt cute and unique. And it matched the cozy and homey vibe we already had.

Her mom had ordered a white outfit from Shopee a few days earlier, and when it arrived, it looked perfect for our simple theme. We didn’t have to spend much or buy anything fancy. We just gathered what we already had at home. Books and a few school things. I started arranging the area while her mom dressed baby Zaza in her cute.

We also bought a small cake from a nearby who make cake, the kind you can easily find around neighborhood. It wasn’t expensive but it added that sweet touch to our celebration. Once everything was ready, we began our little photoshoot.

Zaza looked so adorable lying beside the books, her tiny hands moving as if she wanted to grab one. At first, she looked serious, then she gave a soft smile, the kind that makes everyone in the room melt. We all laughed, and that simple moment became the highlight of the day.

As I stood there taking photos. I felt so happy and proud. Being an aunt means celebrating even the smallest milestone. It doesn’t matter if its just a simple set up or a short moment, what matters is the love we put into it.

Sometimes, life doesn’t need to be expensive to beautiful. This little celebration, remind me that happiness can be found in the simplest thing, in a baby’s smile, a mothers gentle touch, and a family’s shared laughter.

I’m grateful I decided to take the lead that day. Seeing everyone smile while we celebrated Zaza first month made realize how meaningful small efforts can be. One day, when Zaza grows up and looks at these pictures, she will see how loved she was from the very beginning, not because of how nice the set up was, but because of the love that surrounded her.
