✈️ Above the Clouds and Back to the Roots / Entre las Nubes y el Regreso a las Raíces 🙏🌿

This time, I’m sharing moments from my trip to Ciudad de México — a journey that started above the clouds.
Looking out the airplane window, the sky turned into a quiet ocean of white, reminding me how small we are and how vast everything else can be.
☁️ Up there, thoughts slow down. Perspective widens.

Then, back on the ground, I visited the Basílica de Guadalupe.
Standing before the Virgin, there’s a silence that feels different — not empty, but full.
🙏 Faith here is not loud; it’s steady, carried by millions of steps, prayers, and hopes.

I also walked through the gardens of the Basilica, where green paths and calm spaces invite reflection.
🌿 Nature and devotion coexist, offering a pause from the city’s intensity.
As a scientist, I’m used to observing systems. As a person, I’m grateful for moments that invite gratitude instead of analysis.

From clouds to gardens, this trip reminded me that journeys aren’t only measured in distance — they’re measured in meaning.

En esta ocasión comparto momentos de mi viaje a la Ciudad de México, un trayecto que comenzó entre las nubes.
Mirar por la ventana del avión y ver ese mar blanco en silencio te recuerda lo pequeños que somos y lo inmenso que es todo lo demás.
☁️ Allá arriba, los pensamientos se calman y la perspectiva se amplía.

Ya en tierra, visité la Basílica de Guadalupe.
Frente a la Virgen, el silencio se siente distinto — no vacío, sino lleno.
🙏 La fe aquí no grita; permanece, sostenida por millones de pasos, oraciones y esperanzas.

También caminé por los jardines de la Basílica, donde los senderos verdes y la calma invitan a la reflexión.
🌿 Naturaleza y devoción conviven, regalando una pausa en medio de la intensidad de la ciudad.
Como científico, suelo analizar sistemas. Como persona, agradezco los momentos que invitan a la gratitud más que al análisis.

De las nubes a los jardines, este viaje me recordó que los trayectos no solo se miden en distancia — también se miden en significado.
