Visiting The Mountian Buddist Temple In Sheng Quan Shan Scenic Area

The character from Ne Zha 2, the ultimate villain of the movie, Wang Deshun as Master xian Wuliang, leader of the Taoist Chan sector is found in real world in the Buddist temple that I have recently visited near the the Sheng Quan Shan Scenic Area in the Huairou District. This was my first visit to this amazing place in the deeper section of the mountains. There are some old temples at the top of the mountains that are also very deep in the mountain valley. This is a 3A scenic area which is quite popular among the people, but I haven't visited in my Huairou life for the last 5 years. It is almost the same kind of sacred places for the Buddhist people that require a lot of effort to climb up to the mountain top to find the salvation places, and many Chinese people travel to such extreme places for their worship everyday.

I was mostly amused by the character of the Wang Deshun, villain of the recent Chinese blockbuster movie Ne Zha 2 which is really interesting. Though I am very naive in this kind of philosophy of religious knowledge, the character in the form of an idol and people worshipping them is really interesting to me. The location is not so far from Huairou City, but it is in the opposite direction from my living place, so the distance is around 15 km from my dormitory, whereas it is around 7/8 km from the Huairou city center. I went there in the afternoon as the morning time it was raining and the day was a cloudy day, but I did not want to miss a weekend, so I visited this beautiful Buddhist temple in the beautiful natural area of the Huairou district.

As it was very close to the Huairou downtown, I chose to travel in the afternoon, and hiking in the mountains is also very comfortable in the afternoon. Though I am going to share the temple part of the area in this blog but the natural scens are really breathtaking that I will share in the coming days as I have taken many photos in the high resolution format which are areound 40-50 MB in size that needs massive photo editing to use in my blogs. There is quite a large open yeard in front of the entry gate, and ther ticket office is on the left side of the entry gate.

It is obvious from the outside of the entry gate that the scenic area is directly climbing up to the straight, narrow path that climbs up to the mountain area. The ticket price is 35 RMB (around $4), which is neither cheap nor expensive, and can be considered a moderate price. When I entry the area, there are narrow roads climbing staright to the top and there are many children's attractions like some games and animals raising area where children can directly interact with them like some birds and others. I didn't stayed in this area as I have to cover the whole park within next three hours when the closing time arrives and on top of the mountains can be dangerous if it is dark or rain.

After climbing up to the mountains on the left side of the scenic area, I found a sacred worshiping area in the middle of the way that takes more than 50 minutes to climb there without any major resting period except drinking some water. It was inside the cave, and photo taking was restricted, and I respect that. So I couldn't bring out my camera there, and I found some guys learning their worship. Then after another 20/25 minutes of climbing upwards, I found the top of the mountain, and then I got down from the top to get to the main section of the temple through the mountain valley at this height for another 30 minutes.

This part was not climbing up or down, as it was mostly a plain road, which was quite comfortable to walk. But some parts of the road were broken and very dangerous, so safety measures are very important here. Finally, I come to the main temple area where many living houses are built for the monks. And the main worshipping area contains several idols of Buddhas and many Saints or sacred Monks, I think from the mythology. Many visitors were worshipping to them. Here I got the opportunity to take photos of all of them. Though most of them are quite similar to other temples, their arrangement and number vary in some locations.

As I climbed to the top from the left side stairs, I chose a different route to climb down, which is mainly the plain route, which is also used for vehicle operations, but it was more comfortable to climb down. Especially, I walked in backward, which made me feel soothed after climbing upward in the normal direction for a long time. And I saw many people were doing the same as me.

In conclusion, the Buddhist temple in the Sheng Quan Shan Scenic area was hidden from me for a long period, and I finally made my tour there. The nature and the surrounding scenery with a calm environment are the marked characteristics of this beautiful spot in the Huairou district of Beijing Municipality. Just one reminder for you to keep more water or drink while climbing faster here, as it is quite high and some parts are risky and quite steep. Otherwise, the natural gems are worth visiting if you love nature like I do.

I hope you like my photos of the beautiful afternoon views of the Bird's Nest stadium in Beijing City. The excellent air quality with beautiful blue sky makes the views stunning, which will definitely attract you. If you have any questions, please let me know in the comments, and I will try my best to answer them.

Thanks a lot for your time and attention. I will catch up with you at the next one.
Wish you a great weekend!

Dear @tanzil2024 !
Hassan!
Looking at your outfit, it seems like Beijing is currently experiencing the summer heat. The place I live is also starting to get hot.

I have never seen the movie Ne Zha 2!
The movie Ne Zha 2 is not popular in the world I live in!
I don't understand that movie!

East Asian scholars speculate that the prototype of Ne Zha is Nalakuvara!

Do you know much about Hindu mythology and religion?😄

The mythology and religion of India's Buddhism and Hinduism continue to influence the mythology and religion of East Asia to this day.

Yeah, Beijing is facing summer heat now. I watch NeZha2 as a fiction between good and evil, and I have no knowledge about Indian religion mythology.

Dear @tanzil2024 !
Hassan!
I guess you'll enjoy summer more than winter in Beijing!😄
I think summer in Bangladesh is hotter than Beijing!

Yeah, Beijing is facing summer heat now. I watch NeZha2 as a fiction between good and evil, and I have no knowledge about Indian religion mythology.

NeZha is a stranger to Japanese and Koreans!
NeZha is a great being to the Chinese people!

I don't know NeZha because he is a god in Hindu mythology.
