My First Time in Bonifacio Global City (BGC)

Last August 28, 2025, I had the chance to witness the beauty of Bonifacio Global City (BGC) for the very first time. It wasn’t really for roaming around or having fun that brought me there, I actually had some important matters to do with my love. But still, I was happy because at least I got to see and experience the place I had only seen before on TV and social media.

We arrived late in the afternoon, and as soon as the taxi entered BGC, I was honestly in awe. My eyes couldn’t stop looking at the tall buildings all around. I was mesmerized by the modern architecture, the clean surroundings, and the lively atmosphere. It felt like a city within a city. It's a place full of life, progress, and opportunities. Everything looked complete in one place with malls, offices, restaurants, and residential towers. It was busy, yes, but also very beautiful and organized.

Our main reason for going there was to visit the Pru Life UK office for some transactions. Since we weren’t familiar with the place, we just used Google Maps as our guide. Inside the taxi, we passed by several high-rise buildings and malls until finally, I spotted Uptown Mall and, right across from it, the Pru Life UK building.

Thankfully, there weren’t too many clients that day, so we were able to go inside, greeted politely by the guards, and given a priority number. It only took about an hour to finish everything.

Before leaving, I made sure to have a picture taken at Pru Life as a memory of my first time there.

When we stepped outside, it was already getting dark. I took some snapshots around and even spotted Tesla.

Then, I noticed something beautiful just ahead of us at the grounds of Uptown Mall. There was a colorful building glowing with lights and, in the middle, a magical fountain. I got so excited like a child seeing it for the first time. The fountain danced with colors such as purple, yellow, blue and to my amazement, bursts of fire also came out along with the water show.

I couldn’t resist, so I asked for picture while standing near the fountain. The atmosphere was vibrant, with tall glass buildings shining all around us, and the reflections of lights on the water made it even more mesmerizing.

The fountain show was truly magical. Watching the water shoot high into the air with bright colors and fire gave me so much joy. It felt like BGC was not just about business and buildings, it also offered beauty, entertainment, and moments that make you pause and appreciate life. ❤️

My eyes were so full of wonder that night. I kept telling myself:

Wow, this is really BGC. This is the place I only used to see on TV, and now I’m here experiencing it with my own eyes. ☺️❤️

It may have been just a short visit, but it left me with such good memories. ❤️

Sometimes, the most unexpected moments are the ones that stay in your heart. I went there for a serious purpose, but I also ended up seeing beauty, lights, and colors that made me smile. Truly, my first time in Bonifacio Global City is something I will never forget. ☺️❤️

I may have gone there only for an important transaction, but God has His way of giving us little surprises along the journey. That night, I was reminded to be grateful for simple opportunities to step into new places, to witness beauty with my own eyes, and to create memories even in between responsibilities. BGC showed me both progress and wonder, and I felt blessed to experience it. ☺️❤️
