Today, I revisited one of the famous park and farm in our province together with my whole family. It feels nice to be back at Lothesa’s Place.
Lothesa is located at Brgy. Calumpang, Naval Biliran. It is a 5-minute walk from the main road. The park requires an entrance fee of 25.00 for adults, 20. 00 for kids and it’s free for children aging 3 years old and below.
I’m not sure how many years have gone since the last time I came but it’s quite long, still, a lot of joyful memories remain. The last time I came was with my mom and younger brother. I am so happy that we’re able to go back to the place and this time we’re complete.
There’s a lot of things to enjoy and see in the park since it is very wide. It’s also a perfect timing because there are only few people so we can take our time roaming around and take unlimited pictures without any other people waiting until we’re done.
The park has actually two elevations-the upper and lower elevation. In the upper area you can find the function hall and the heart shaped welcome ark where you could take pictures with the forest and sky in the background. I really regret for not wearing a more appropriate attire. I really wish I had gone there in a dress.
I also appreciate how the park is always maintained green that you won’t hesitate to sit on the grass while taking a picture with the park’s name behind you. There are lots of sculpted animals which you can take playful pictures with. I really find the sculpted animals amazing and so cute because they look like real.
Lothesa park could also be a perfect venue for any celebrations or seminars because of its spacious hall. There is also a canteen where you can buy snacks like halo-halo, cheese burger, fries, fresh fruit shakes and street foods.
One of the famous attractions in the park is their swing and bird’s nest. You can also take unlimited pictures with it with an awesome view in the background.
There’s a lot more to see on the lower area of the park which is accessible through a concrete stair. I’m amazed to discover that they finally have a pool area and many sculpted animals were added like the lion, the koalas, the zebras and even the parrots on the trees, which really look so real from the distance.
There’s also a gazebo where you could rest after roaming around and playground area for kids to enjoy like the seesaw and swing. There’s really a lot of things to experience but sad to say our time was really limited. So, after taking a lot of pictures which I believe even took us an hour, we went to the upper area again.
It was really a joyful Saturday afternoon and I really hope that we could stay longer. Sadly, due to the gloomy weather we’re afraid that we’d be caught by the heavy rain so we need to go to our next destination before we get caught by the rain.
Thanks for reading.
