DISCOVERING THE CHARM OF COMMUNAL RANCH IN IMPASUG-ONG, BUKIDNON NORTHERN MINDANAO

The boy with a cowboy hat sat near the cliff, and I could not stop myself from taking a photo that did justice to the view and its wonderfulness.

It was a wonderful time to have a mini vacation with my little big sister and her kiddos at a place resembling New Zealand. Back then I was so busy with work and couldn't find time for myself but my sister insisted on going here to see the place and be amazed at the wonders of nature. The way to go here is not easy because the entrance to this place is a little bit rough and if you want to take your vehicle it should be 4x4 wheel drive. But we want the thrill so we rent a motorcycle that costs us 150 each to get to this place. Our time and money compensate when we nearly arrive at the destination because we are captivated by the beauty of the mountains.

Bukidnon is known for its stunning landscapes, and this place is living proof. There are many ways to get here. It is located in Capitan Bayong, Impasug-ong. When someone hears about Bukidnon, travelers usually associate it with agricultural products, beautiful mountains, and Forest Parks. But this place just captivated my heart, and it has the most dramatic scenery I have seen in my entire life. I always love the mountains.

This is what it looks like from afar.

This is where you get close to the edge of the cliff the rivers separate us from the mountain and they look different from this point of view

I remember way back in college my first OJT (On-the-Job-Training) was in CENRO Manolo Fortich. As an Environmental college student, our mentor the Geodetic Engineer always took us to different places of Manolo Fortich to perform the tasks we were required to do. I have been to Impasug-ong and we trek and went to the foot of this mountain to visit some locals and do some interviews about their way of living and how and ways to preserve nature. We have a picture but the camera back then was not good and took low-quality pictures unlike now we can buy the best cellphone with a quality camera,

The couples in the background are having a prenup photoshoot. The photographer should get the best angle.

After strolling and walking under the heat of the sun, we took a lot of pictures because we might not be coming back here soon. I always love photography and here are some of my examples using the same phone I had for 3 years now. Here are some of the pictures I took.

The reflections of the clouds and people, and the two houses mirroring perfectly in a quiet pond below. It looks like from another dimension.

Then we enjoyed the horseback riding for 250 each person. When we reach near the edge you can see the stunning, rolling green hills under a bright blue sky.

Sorry kiddos they have to endure the scorching heat of the sun. But they loved it, they did not try to ride the horse because they were not used to it.

Each of the pictures are beautiful. The anecdote with a new camera is undoubtedly beautiful. I too have new equipment that allows for that. Although I want a new professional camera to go on new adventures.

The pictures I liked the most are the ones of the mountain formation, each one is impressive.

Thank you so much for appreciating my pictures. Yes, I used my cellphone camera OPPO Reno 7. You have to get the best angle and lighting to take a good photo. I do not have a professional camera, and I cannot afford it.
