Hello universe! Hello hivers! I'm back again with another's family trip but this one is a free wander! Me and my little family just came back at my husband's hometown and they day after we rested, we went to this place. This is a very old place. We have so many memories here because this is a free place, no entrance fee or environmental fee. This is a private own land and the owner don't want to make it a resort so it's just left as a free spring for so many years.
First is we need to cross at a nearby river passing through the dam. The river flow was strong unlike before so I have to carry my daughter in my back. But my husband made our son enjoy the water so he let him walk but he has to hold so tight since the water flows so strong.
I was attracted to go down by the river. It has so many stones but actually the river has so many fine sand. The main job of the people here for many years is sand and gravel quarrying.
Then after several minutes there, my husband was stung by a shell fish so we decided to go up and continue the trail.
By the way these are the shells we found there. I don't know if the first picture can be eaten but there's a lot out there. And the second picture I really thought I can only find this type of shells at the beach but it can also be found here. But it's still small, this will grow bigger twice as it is today so I just throw it back to the river.
Heading there it's actually a very clean cut of carabao grasses as there where Shepherd here who use to herd cows and horses. Look at the thick forest up there! On the right side, in the left side and in front, it's all green. It feels like jungle. It's so cold here even if the sun is blazing hot out there.
It's just a matter of minutes and here we are! I was so surprised to see a very clean, cold and calm water of the spring! It was so clear that even beneath can be seen. There's a lot of tiny fishes here too! And the kids enjoyed watching it. They keep on collecting it and laugh but it's hard to get, fishes in the wild are fast moving. The water is really really cold. I think this is a bunch of ice plunges here!
So I took pictures of ours for another memories imprinted on the minds and on the album of ours. The water was crystal clear. It's sunny day but I never feel hot. I was too cold for the sun.
We spent almost twenty minutes swimming and playing then we are freezing cold so we decided to go home but before I went out from the water, I took pictures at different angles and it makes me feel so happy and relaxed to see the nature so beautiful and promising.
This is the wider view of the dam. Way back 2017 to 2019 the water level rises so much during rainy days so the government decided to built a dam to control the water. Nearly 2021 it was effective but in the year 2022 when there is a super typhoon almost half of the dam side was flooded, washed out and the destruction of the infrastructure leads to floods of the nearby community where water is at the knee level and people struggle to secure things and home appliances. Luckily it was worked and resumed at an earlier year and since from that time there's no more leakage on the drainages or at the dam or dam side.
Off we go, bringing so much delights in our hearts from a beautiful sight to a wonderful cold swimming experience! Nature is very generous so we have to love it at our best. Thank you so much hivers for reading my blog until here. I hope you like it. See you next time to my next travel!

There’s just something magical about this place. The cold water shocks you at first, but then… it feels like peace. Like every worry slowly melts away. Tambulig’s natural spring isn’t just beautiful — it feels alive. Quiet, charming, and untouched. A hidden comfort you didn’t know you needed.
