Enjoying Simple Joys: A Perfect Day of Biking and Good Food.

Hello, Hiver Community!. How are you? Hope you have a wonderful weekend. 🤗

A typical Sunday for us. Day off, the kids clean their own rooms and I clean the other areas of the house. It's a helping hand to finish our household chores. We want to finish the cleaning because we're planning to have our lunch outside. Lunch date with the four of us.

Fast forward:

We're preparing ourselves because slowly we will start our way going to the town. The weather is so nice and spring is coming. Sunny and windy but its all ok than before months of winter. When we arrived at Neptun Pizzeria & Restaurant. I’m starting to feel hungry, I smell the food already from other customers' tables. Oh my G! I can't wait to eat. Really I'm starving, we are starving. It's a reward for our morning household chores. But we need to wait because they will cook our food.

Yes, Finally the food is here. 😋

I ordered catfish with fries and veggies, my husband's food is chicken with fries and rice and veggies. Kids, hmmmm what to expect, it's pizza. Their pizza is so good. They have cheese, corn and ham pizza. It's a medium size pizza for them. So our youngest Aya and I share the pizza.

The food is so delicious, it was indeed a great food. The food that we share together brings joy and is extra special for us. A special day that brings us together in one table added to our memories. The tummy is full and satisfied, leaving us happy together. What a wonderful Sunday for us.

Were in the car and my husband invited us to go biking. And the kids refused to go. So it's a biking date for us on this beautiful day. We get our bike inside the garage and ready to go. Our place is good for biking and walking. We have this lane. And the Danube river is near to our village.

Continue to pedal and I ask my husband to take me photos. So he clicks once and that's it. And I said to her, Why only one photo? He replied: It's all the same and why do you need more of it? Same place and just the angle is different. One is enough. I said again, no I want to have more photos and I don't care if there are more angles.😂He said again. Yah I know you're a Filipina and want to have more photos.

The wind blows to my skin, as I push the pedals forward, the ride is so good. It's just us, the road, the beautiful view. We went to the river and its low tide looked like a little island. It was too beautiful I cannot ignore it. And my husband took out his mobile and captured the moment. The nature made us get to see it and surprises a little like this. Such an unexpected and beautiful moment. Any by the way, Danube River is the second longest river in Europe.

We decided it was time to head home and we still need to prepare for our dinner. Continuing to pedal and pedal the sight is so mesmerizing and I couldn't help but wish that the kids were here too. Next time, we will go biking together.
Simple moments like these make it more special for us. Nothing fancy, expensive, just pure joy, love and happiness in our hearts.
With happy hearts and refreshed minds, we arrived home, ready to enjoy a delicious meal and cherish the memories. Another day well spent, another story to keep.

Tired after biking it's so true. But it helps us to see the beautiful nature and it's a form of exercise too. A happy heart for us and a day well spent.
