Hello @worldmappin. I haven't been able to go out much lately. Workloads, sending kids to school every day, and more paperwork are dumped into my lap. Good thing there were still times when work and getaway went along together, fortunately.

Just yesterday, one of my workmates turned 38. She invited us for lunch at Cosido CloudPeak View. I was thinking that the place is mainly just a restaurant, but I was surprised when we got there. It was wrong. It was actually a resort with great food and scenery.

Where is Cosido CloudPeak View Located?
It is nested in Loverslane, Aurora, Zamboanga del Sur, just around 5 minutes from the Municipal Hall of Aurora. Aurora is known as the God's Country of Zamboanga del Sur, and this town has cooler and fresher air compared to other municipalities. It might be because this place is highly elevated above sea level and is full of century-old trees being preserved by the local government.

Is there any entrance fee to enter the Cosido CloudPeak View?
No. The place is totally free. You can get inside its premises without any fee and have a nice view of the clouds, the sea and the lush greens down below, or have a free swing and see-saw for you to enjoy. It is a perfect place to find peace, serenity, calmness, and scenic bliss.

What else can be enjoyed besides the breathtaking view?
In the center of about a hectare, a fenced place, Cosido CloudPeak View, has a cozy restaurant serving homemade dishes and delicacies that are truly appetizing and mouth-watering.

Long tables in their dining area are elegant and are perfect for big events and celebrations. Want some drinks? A mini bar full of wines, whisky, and more is there too.

A mini-stage facing the whole dining area is best for hosting events, karaoke sessions, and more. The lighting was soft enough, bringing a warmth and accommodating feeling.

Beautiful and colorful flowers and ornamental plants added a more calming and relaxing ambiance. They were too beautiful to our eyes that we couldn't resist taking pictures of them.

The "couple chairs" were amazing too. They look playful and calming at the same time. These chairs are best for a couple's date.

Overnight cottages found at the cliffside of the place are also one of the highlights of this resort. These cottages are facing Mount Malindang and would be a perfect spot for a sunrise bath and snaps. The clouds above Malindang looked like cotton candies clinging to the mountain tops.

Final Thought
Our getaway to Cosido CloudPeak View was more than just a birthday lunch. It was an unexpected escape to nature's beauty, good food, and shared smiles. It is a hidden gem where serenity meets celebration. Whether you’re looking for a peaceful retreat, a venue for gatherings, or simply a place to reconnect with friends and nature, Cosido CloudPeak View is worth a visit. We went there for a birthday, but we left with beautiful memories that we’ll treasure for a long time.
