A Birthday Lunch Turned Mini Getaway at 7As Mini Resort and Bistro

What we thought would be just a birthday lunch turned into a fun little escape to a hidden mini-resort. With good food, beautiful scenery, and lots of laughter, it became more than just a meal; it was an experience worth remembering.

It was September 5, and it was @noddie21's birthday. A day before, she told us that she was going to take us to a place where we could spend our lunch together with her. We usually spend lunch together, yet going outside from our work station and eating somewhere is a way more exciting.

We reached the place at exactly 12 noon. I thought it was just a cozy restaurant with amazing food menus. But it was not just like that! Aside from the Bistro, the place is actually a mini resort with beautiful landscape and decorative plants.

We immediately proceed to the Bistro. Others just ignore the beautiful scenery; it could be because they have been to this place many times already, but I, as a first-timer, was amazed by its beauty. And in my mind, I said, after eating, I should roam around this place and take photos.

The Bistro was cozy with its native-themed decorations, simple yet elegant. The long table was filled with mouth-watering foods that the birthday celebrant ordered for us to enjoy together. Every food marked its unique taste on my taste buds, making me think of coming back one of these days.

After the festive lunch, I managed to escape from the table with the alibi of going to the comfort room. Funny but true, perhaps because of my excitement to take photos, I forgot to bring my phone, hahahhahaha. Good thing I saw another colleague outside the toilet who honestly went to pee, with his phone inside his pocket. I asked him to let me borrow his phone for photo ops, and he granted me the favor.

I then got my first pose beside the pool, under the two-storey house of the resort's owner, carpeted with fake green grass and decorated with big pots of real decorative plants. The glass windows gave a good reflection of the pool, which added charm to my photos.

The pool water was not very clear that day, it was their scheduled pool-cleaning day. That was okay, we never planned to have swimming anyway.

At the back of the owner's house were mini-houses that served as cottages for visitors and overnight guests of the place. The place was well-landscaped, and more potted plants filled some spaces.

Beside the Bistro and the pool were netted bamboo cottages. These bamboo cottages are perfect for barkadas and families who just want to spend hours swimming and eating in this mini resort. Nets around the bamboo cottages protect guests from mosquitoes and flies that may contaminate their food.

A bamboo swing was placed inside a bamboo hut carpeted with fake green grass. The swing is very relaxing, along with the cold wind coming from the surrounding area full of coconut trees. This is also a perfect spot for a selfie.

On the other side was another entrance gate and a bridge leading to another swimming pool. The mini bridge looks beautiful as thousands of Koi and Gold fish swim under it, in crystal clear waters. We didn't enter the gate because our colleagues were calling us to take our group photo.

It was truly a memorable birthday lunch, good food, great company, and a beautiful place to explore. I left with a happy heart and a reminder that simple moments like this can turn into the best experiences.
