In Bangladesh we don’t have such rituals, but Hindu people has a tradition of sacrifice fo their god. But we the Muslim do Qurbani animals in the name of Allah, show our gratitude to Allah. Intresting we divide meat from those animals into three parts forbthe poor, relatives, and own family.

I've never seen a ceremony of sacrificing animals to a god, so I'm curious!
In East Asia, including China, there is a custom of sacrificing animals to gods and then distributing the meat to people.

Try to find some Muslim community in the next month, when Eid-ul-Adha will be celebrated by sacrificing some animal in the name of Allah, it is not something unusual, rather than the normal processing of animals that is done every day for meat production in Islam. But there may be some different activities in other religions I don't know about them.
