Safe and Sound Trip To Paracelis, Mountain Province With My Sister and Mother

Hello hivers, it’s been a while since I posted my blog here and I am eager again to share with you my travel experience with you all.

Last January, we visited our grandmother with my sister and mom at Paracelis, Mountain Province where our mom’s sister got married. Before that, mom and I need to travel to Solano, Nueva Vizcaya because my sister was there waiting for us, as we’re going to use their car for transportation. It was 9:30 am when we got into the van going to Solano, and we were thankful that there’s still space and luckily there’s space in front and I seated because I’m that person who easily get dizzy.

For me not to get bored, I look outside and took pictures of the surroundings. Here in our place, we were surrounded with mountain ranges and most of the roads our winding. So, for drivers, they really need to take extra caution in order to avoid accident. There were also areas that they do not have signals and it is one of the problems of the residence. Some of the houses too were not concrete and the means of livelihood were mostly farming.

For 45 minutes, we entered the municipality of Kayapa – one of the municipality of Nueva Vizcaya. Here, there were areas that they do not have internet connection, some have weak signals. The place is also mountainous and they have cool weather during rainy season and Christmas season until January but there were times the weather may vary.
We descended to another municipality wherein I really felt the hot weather. The surroundings have no trees but hills and plains, vast rice fields, tall coconut trees, mangoes, and other fruit trees.

There were trees but a few only and you can see it from a far. In the roads there are merchant who sells buko and take note Nueva Vizcaya is one of the producers of rice as they are also one of the agricultural provinces in the Philippines.
Another municipality we traversed, the same environment and the weather was too hot. Here, the road was not winding and you can feel the breeze of the air mixed with the hot weather.

Finally, we arrived in Bambang which supposedly in Solano but because the van route only is in Bambang (another municipality in Nueva Vizcaya). As I got off in the vehicle, I can really feel the hot weather and it’s getting me sweat. I texted my sister where they are and she said, they’re already in the destination but I can’t find them. So, I called her once and it went out that they were in the gasoline station 50 meters apart. I waved my hand as a signal that it is me, also the tricycle driver saw the person (my sister) having a phone conversation the same as me, so he was right that she was my sister. No more chika, we hopped in, in their car.

To be honest, we didn’t know where exactly the way to get in to our auntie’s place because it’s our first time to use a car in our own, and the driver was his first time also to go in Paracelis. With that, we just decided to ask for the residence in every area we passed through.
First we, we pass through Bagabag, one of the municipalites of N. V. , it wasn’t that crowded compared to other parts of the municipalities. The place is surrounded by farmland, mountains, and rivers. There were roadside stalls coupled with small stores, and eateries. The roads were wide and you can drive safely.
After Bagabag, we travelled to Santiago, Isabela. Isabela is one of the largest Province in the Philippines as it is known for the “RICE GRANARY OF LUZON” because the province has a wide agricultural plain – like rice fields, corn fields and farm areas. I can say that they are hotter compared to the nearby provinces, but there are parts that they have cooler environment.

By the way, Santiago is an urbanized city in Isabela compared to nearby towns. But we didn’t traverse the center of it, we travelled to the outside proper wherein the surroundings were surrounded with rice fields.
After Santiago, we passed going toward Lamut, Ifugao. Lamut, Ifugao is another province, and a gateway town to Ifugao coming from Isabela or Nueva Vizcaya. They were surrounded with rice fields, hills, and forested mountains. The weather was a bit misty.
After a long ride, we decided to eat first in one of the restaurants there. The food was great and I really enjoyed eating.
We continued our journey and that’s the time the driver don’t the route going to Mountain province, so every road we ask for the residence there. after 1 hour, we arrived at the entrance of mountain province wherein there’s a signage of the province.

The place where surrounded with vast corn fields and it’s one of the crops they planted. Another was, grown bananas everywhere, and tall coconut trees.

We are glad that my mother remembered the route going to our auntie’s barangay which is paracelis because we were once went there. at last, we finally arrived and our aunt is there waiting for us.
The area where she stayed didn’t change, the same environment and still I can hear people with a loud noise.
Then, the next day, we just went to get fresh buko in their farm. We just stayed there for 2 days. For staying there, we spent the time well with them. Maybe next time, we will come again and will raid their farm because they have some fruits planted.
Well, that's all for today. Thanks for stopping by.
