For this week, I wandered through a beautiful historic town just as the day shifted into evening.
The combination of medieval architecture, winter light, and Christmas decorations made the walk feel almost cinematic.
Here are some of the moments I captured along the way.
The walk began in front of this impressive church, with its massive rose windows and detailed stonework.
The contrast between the warm stone and the cool morning air made the whole scene feel timeless.

As the sun started to set, I walked toward an old stone gate.
Through it, you could already see the glow of Christmas lights and people gathering in the main square.

Once I crossed the gate, the atmosphere changed completely.
Families, kids, music, and warm lights filled the square, giving it that cozy winter feeling that makes you slow down and enjoy.

Inside the church, the stained glass rose window was breathtaking.
The light shining through created a quiet and peaceful moment.

Walking deeper inside, the tall arches and stone walls surrounded everyone in a kind of sacred calm.
Even with many people around, there was a deep silence.

At the end of the nave, the stained glass behind the altar glowed in tones of blue, red, and gold.
It felt like the perfect place to pause for a moment.

I ended the walk back at the Christmas market.
The sky was growing darker, the lights brighter, and people seemed to enjoy every second of the evening.

This Wednesday Walk reminded me how special it feels to explore a town during the holidays β
the mix of history, light, architecture, and community creates something truly magical.
Thanks for joining me on this walk!
