Morning Hike, Timeless Memories: Discovering The Beauty of Maslog Ridge

Last Sunday, my churchmate's family and I decided to have a trail adventure on Monday, August 25, 2025, at 3:00 in the morning. We are all excited, knowing it would be more than just a hike; it would be another opportunity to strengthen our bond and witness God's beautiful creation.

But before I dive into the story, allow me to start with this powerful Bible verse from Psalm 95:4-5: "In His hands are the depths of the earth, and mountain peaks belong to him. The sea is His, for He made it, and His hand formed the dry land."

That morning, things didn't go exactly as I planned. I overslept because I didn't hear my alarm, and by the time I woke up, my phone was flooded with missed calls from them. I was so anxious and felt embarrassed by my actions because I caused the delay to our adventure. But then, we need to look at the positive side—God's timing is better than ours.

After a while, the journey began! Every single step was filled with laughter and stories, and just like that, after an hour of walking, we arrived at the top of Maslog Ridge, located in the Municipality of Aurora.

Maslog Ridge is a must-visit place here in Aurora. It not only offers perfect scenery for camping, picnicking, or even a place to recharge oneself but also provides the answer to why this is a must-visit spot in Aurora. Not only does this place offer beautiful scenery, but it also carries the story of Aurora, its growth, and the hard work of every Auroranian.

To sum it all up, our adventure up Maslog Ridge was much more than a physical journey; it was a heartfelt reminder of God's perfect timing and the beauty that surrounds us when we choose to embrace it together. Despite the initial delay, every moment spent with my churchmate's Family strengthened our Bond and deepened our appreciation for the resilience and spirit of Aurora and its people living here. This experience assured that nature not only heals but also tells stories of those who nurture it, making Maslog Ridge not just a destination to visit, but a cherished part of our shared journey in faith and friendship.
