HINAGDANAN CAVE is located in Bingag Dauis Bohol Philippines and is history is very different from other cave it's because it was discovered by accident in the early 20th century by a farmer clearing his land, the tourist guide explains to us that after dropping a stone ito a small hole the owner of the land build a ladder and named it hinagdanan cave. It is very popular here in Bohol because of its unique underground lagoon that has a rock formed stalagmites and stalactites that has a natural ceiling when a sunlight hit it's holes it forms a spotlight and also this hinagdanan cave, during World War II , locals used this cave as hide out from the Japanese imperial army.

Right from the start, the staircase was incredibly narrow you’d constantly bump your head if you weren't careful. However, once we got down, the cave was incredibly stunning you could go snorkeling and go for a swim here. You could also see massive rock formations made of stalagmites and stalactites.

Quite a few guests here also took a dip in the underground lagoon. We didn't stay long, though, because my family and I still had somewhere else to go. As we were leaving via the exit stairs, I found myself reflecting on the fact that if we hadn't visited this place, I wouldn't have known its actual history even though I'm actually from Bohol myself, πŸ˜‚. There are many souvenir shops right by the exit. you can easily buy gifts there for your family or loved ones.

This photo was taken just as we were about to head to our next destination. I am so grateful to have been with my family even though they had other things to attend to, they made the effort to set aside time for us to go out and enjoy the day together.😊
