Mountain Escape: A Peaceful Night At Buntod Campground

Hello, everyone! How are you all doing? I hope you're all doing well. Last time, I shared my beach adventure in Glan. Today, let's head to the mountains! Come and join me as I take you on a trip to Buntod Campground, located in Tambler, General Santos City.

The campground is just about a 30-minute ride from our house, making it one of the nearest places to visit whenever we want to enjoy nature and the mountains. We decided to go there at night because we wanted to experience spending the night at the campground.

When we reached our destination, we had to climb a long staircase before reaching the nipa huts where we would be staying. After settling our things, we explored the place. The cool mountain breeze instantly relaxed everyone after the short hike. Aside from the nipa hut accommodations, visitors can also set up their own tents if they prefer camping under the stars.

The campground also serves food, including delicious chicken inasal. However, we brought some fresh fish with us, so we grilled them beside our hut. We enjoyed our simple dinner outdoors while stargazing. Looking up at the bright moon and countless stars made the night even more peaceful and memorable.

One of my favorite amenities at the campground was the outdoor movie area. They have a large screen where families and campers can enjoy watching a movie together under the open sky. Can you imagine how wonderful that is? Honestly, this was one of the things I looked forward to the most during our visit. 😊

After the movie ended, we went back to our hut to rest for the night. The next morning, we woke up to a breathtaking view of green trees and beautiful mountains surrounding the campground. The cool air was still there, making the morning feel fresh and relaxing. Of course, we couldn't leave without taking lots of pictures. 😊

This camping experience didn't just strengthen our family bond—it also reminded me to slow down, appreciate nature, and enjoy life's simple moments. Sometimes, a peaceful night in the mountains is all we need to recharge our hearts.
