Highland Wonders: Discovering The Beauty Of Kapatagan

Hello, everyone! How are you all doing? I hope you're all doing well! Last time, you joined me on my trip to Buntod Campground. Today, we'll continue our mountain escapade. Come with me as we explore Kapatagan, Digos City, Davao del Sur.

Kapatagan is a scenic highland barangay in Digos City. Tourists visit this place not only because of its picturesque views but also because of its cool weather. Many people even say it gives you Baguio feels. From the lush crops to the beautiful plants that surround the area, you can truly say this place has a heaven-like beauty.

We visited several tourist spots in Kapatagan, and one of my favorites was Camp Sabros. The tall pine trees instantly reminded me of Baguio. They were so huge that I couldn't help but stop and admire them. Honestly, I was amazed. They also have a restaurant that serves delicious food, and one of the best parts is that you can take a photo with Mt. Apo, the highest mountain in the Philippines, as your background. After enjoying a hearty meal, we treated ourselves to some sweet ice cream. Just look at how cute their setup is! 😊

Another place that I really appreciated was Wine Woods Apo. They offer a variety of local wines, although we didn't get the chance to try them this time. 😊 Instead, we enjoyed a warm cup of coffee, which was perfect for the cool mountain weather. Every corner of the place is picture-perfect. I also loved its architectural design and the beautiful plants surrounding it.

Speaking of plants and flowers, our next stop was Jardin de Señorita. The garden was filled with colorful flowers that made the whole place even more beautiful. They even have a windmill that gave me Netherlands vibes. 😊 I was also amazed by the colorful row houses nearby. Honestly, I would love to own one someday! I especially liked the pink one. Of course, we took lots of pictures to remember our trip. Looking back, I realized that Kapatagan is more than just a beautiful destination. It's a place where you can slow down, enjoy nature, and appreciate the simple beauty that surrounds you. I truly hope I can visit this wonderful place again.

If you're looking for a peaceful mountain getaway with cool weather, breathtaking views, and plenty of Instagram-worthy spots, I highly recommend adding Kapatagan to your travel list. You might just fall in love with it the way I did.
