Finally got access to Bing Chat and here is my first impression. It's like chatting with a computer from Star Trek. Insane.

Microsoft will damit offensichtlich Bing und Edge pushen.

Was sagt ihr dazu? Habt ihr Bing Chat schon ausprobieren können?

Q

Who blew up the nordstream pipelines?

A (Bing Chat)

The Nord Stream pipelines are a network of offshore natural gas pipelines that run under the Baltic Sea from Russia to Germany⁸. They comprise two separate projects, Nord Stream 1 and 2⁸. The pipelines were built and operated by Nord Stream AG, a joint venture of Russian, German, Dutch and French companies⁹.

In September 2022, the pipelines were blown up at two points, causing a major disruption in the gas supply to Europe⁵. The cause of the explosion was initially unknown, but a recent report by Seymour Hersh, a Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist, claimed that the US Navy and NATO allies carried out a covert operation to sabotage the pipelines in June 2022²⁶. Hersh cited an anonymous source who claimed to have direct knowledge of the operation²⁶.

However, the US government has denied any involvement in the attack, and there is no current evidence to corroborate Hersh's claim³⁵. Russia, on the other hand, has swiftly endorsed Hersh's claim, accusing the US of trying to undermine its energy interests and influence in Europe⁴⁵. The incident has heightened the tensions between the US and Russia, especially over the ongoing conflict in Ukraine¹⁷.

English

Already got Bing Chat unlocked surprisingly fast on Monday and here are my first impressions.

First of all, Bing Chat only works on my desktop at the moment and you have to use Edge. Microsoft obviously wants to push Bing and Edge with AI.

On mobile (app and browser), Bing thinks I'm still on the waiting list, even though I already have access on desktop.

The second thing I noticed, the AI response is not always generated in the right column unlike in the demo.

In fact, rather rarely. You have to manually switch to chat or scroll up. Overall, however, the integration in Bing is intuitive and pleasant (under Settings > Labs you can set the frequency of automatic AI-generated responses).

And now for the actual AI. In principle, Bing Chat works similar to ChatGPT with the difference that for knowledge questions one or even more web searches are executed in the background beforehand, and the results are then included in the answer. Sources cited.

And it works amazingly well. Like the computers on Star Trek. This is awesome. Not only are the answers more accurate with this, but they are also much more up to date than with ChatGPT.

With the trick of web searching and summarizing the results, GPT suddenly lends itself to knowledge questions, but you still have to be careful. Not everything the AI answers is correct.

For example, I asked Bing about Twitter's debt after Musk's takeover, and Sydney (codename of the Bing AI) said Twitter was 30 billion in debt, when it is actually between 13 and 14 billion. Despite web searches and further enquiring, Sydney persisted.

Then I asked Bing about the Nord Stream terrorist attack, thinking that AI will pass on explosive political issues (AI models are artificially filtered and extremely censored), but I got a response that even cited Seymour Hersh's explosive investigative article, though without linking it.

Speaking of source citations. This is extremely conveniently solved, when you mouse over the AI-generated text, the search results pop up and you can open the web pages easily.

However, I think since the answers are already so good, Bing Chat will increasingly save you from going to web pages. Some web operators already hate AI or are very afraid that they will lose traffic and advertising revenue. Probably not entirely unfounded.

What do you guys think? Have you already tried out Bing Chat? Got access?

Live your Secrets and Hive Prosper 🍯

xx Viki @vikisecrets

Yeah this software is best for business person because Who is a businessman or doing any kind of business then we see that he has to talk to the employees together then this kind of software is very much. When there are too many people then the access become difficult in a way that you can't find on mobile.

Krass!

I want to try it and be able to ask him something that obsesses me. What came first the chicken or the egg?

haha, asked Bing Chat:

This is a classic question that has puzzled people for centuries. The answer depends on how you define a chicken and an egg. 🐔🥚

Most biologists state unequivocally that the egg came first³. At their most basic level, eggs are just female sex cells. Hard external eggs that can be laid on land (also known as amniotic eggs) were a game changer for vertebrates³. They showed up roughly 340 million years ago, and the first chickens evolved at around 58 thousand years ago at the earliest⁵. Eggs were around way before chickens even existed⁵.

However, if you are referring to the specific eggs from which chickens emerge, then the answer is more complicated. At some point, some almost-chicken creature produced an egg containing a bird whose genetic makeup, due to some small mutation, was fully chicken². If you are prepared to call that egg a chicken’s egg, then the egg came first. Otherwise, the chicken came first and the first chicken’s egg had to wait until the first chicken laid it⁴.

I first want to know what is Star Trek?

AI cannot be used blindly, at least in the contemporary times. Who knows about the future.

The fear of web developers is understandable and is true to an extent.

You know what I am thinking this AI thing will create ease but it is going to create a deprivation too. We would be more and more living in the limited world of our own.

For instance, it often happens that I am in search of one thing for which I browse. On my way to find one thing I got to know about some other and sometimes quite beneficial kind of information is acquired.

When I would get the filtered answer of my questions, it is less likely that I would find any other thing

The AI stuff from bing/openAI is kind of crazy and it's proving to be quite good. I think it still lacks in a few details but I do think it's already a good alternative to google and other search engines.
