A Special Day That Slipped Away

Valentine's day was over and I haven't give anything to my wife because she was busy with her big brother's wedding at that time. The wedding for her big brother was also the day of Valentine's day and they went to other place for their wedding because the soon to be wife of her big brother were far away from their place.

I plan on giving my wife a bouquet of flowers as well as my daughter since I love them and I want them to surprise them with these flowers that I plan on buying but there was an unexpected things that happened and thankfully, I overheard about the wedding of her big brother and it was exactly the day of Valentine's day.

I was shocked to hear because I just reserve the bouquet of flowers to one of my classmates before that were selling flowers and posted photos of it.

After I hear that they will go to the wedding, I messaged my classmate that I ordered the bouquet of flowers to her and tell her about the situation and thankfully, my classmate understand the situation that I will not continue on ordering.

I have planned many things on the Valentine's day but when unexpected things happens, my plans shattered because I need to adjust and such.

So, on the Valentine's day, I haven't done anything and I stayed at my house because my wife went to the wedding to her big brother's wedding while for me, a shy guy, didn't want to go to the wedding.

I stayed in my house and finding a suitable job in the internet because I'm also looking for a job then I also ask my little brother about the Valentine's day and why didn't he want to celebrate the Valentine's day with his partner and he casually said that it's a waste of money and he has no money to celebrate Valentine's day with his partner.

He was right about that but the thought about going out even if there's no gifts and food to prepare but only going out with his partner is enough.

Anyway, I don't like meddling with other's problem so, I didn't pursue about that issue with my brother but I told him about Valentine's and such so yeah, not meddle but a brother's talk.
