Hello my co-hivers 🌻 it's me again you're hivemate @vellyn and welcome back to my another episode of my blog here in @bayanihive Community.kumusta kayo?I hope you are all doing great and having a wonderful day.For today's blog, I will share with you a little glimpse of our family's special gathering during the pamanhikan last January 18, 2026.
On January 18, 2026, we went to Gumalang for a very special occasion in our family. My child brought their partner to meet our family and formally asked for our blessing as they planned to continue their relationship.
It was a simple gathering, but it was filled with happiness and excitement. When we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by their family. We spent time talking, getting to know each other, and sharing stories around the table.
We also prepared food for everyone to enjoy, including the delicious lechon that became part of our simple celebration. While eating and talking, both families had the chance to become more comfortable with each other.
For me, pamanhikan is not only about asking for permission or blessing. It is also a beautiful opportunity for two families to meet, build a good relationship, and support their children as they begin another chapter in their lives.
I was happy to be part of this meaningful day. It may have been a simple gathering, but the memories, laughter, and togetherness made it very special.
It is one of those family moments that we will always remember and treasure.

Pamanhikan is so special to both families to know each other at makapag Plano Anong dapat gawin sa couple. The lechon looks so delicious, sarap kumuha ng balat ng lechon looks crispy. 😁
