🌽 A Day on Our Farm: Hiring Workers to Clean the Field, Gathering the Grasses, and Preparing Our Land for Planting Corn Again

Today, I want to share another simple story from our farm. We spent our day cleaning the field because we are preparing it for planting corn again. Before we can plant, we need to remove the grasses and gather them in one place to make the farm clean and ready for the next planting.
I hired some workers to help us gather and pile up the grasses. It was not an easy job because there were many grasses and dry plants scattered around the field. Good thing we had people helping us, so we could finish the work in just one day. I am thankful for their hard work and cooperation.
When lunchtime came, we took a break and shared a simple meal together. Our food was not fancy, but it was enough to fill our hungry stomachs after working under the sun.
For me, eating together after working is also a happy moment because we can rest, talk, and enjoy the food we have.
Being a farmer teaches us to be patient and hardworking. There is always something to do on the farm, but every effort has a purpose. We hope that after cleaning the field, we can plant corn again and have a good harvest in the future.

Looking at your photos brings back childhood memories of accompanying my parents to the rice fields. After working in the fields, we would open the food we had brought from home and enjoy a meal together right there.
Those were really precious memories. Simple moments like eating together in the rice fields are unforgettable. Life was simple, but those memories will always stay in our hearts.
Yes, you’re absolutely right. I still remember those memories to this day. Sometimes, my mother and I would head out to the rice fields to join my father, bringing along a meal for us to share. My father would usually leave for the fields very early in the morning. !GLYPH
