Our Hearty Lunch Get-Together: A Perfect Saturday

‎Last Saturday, we were again so blessed to get invited by our friend for lunch. And when we arrived, we were amazed by the feast they prepared.
‎

‎There were a lot of dishes... that you could really feel how much effort went into everything. 💛
‎
‎There's pinaupong manok… or should I say, pinahiga? 😅😆
‎


‎
‎Because it looked like it was lying down rather than sitting up. 😂
‎
‎Then there was creamy ginataang pato, fresh and crunchy cucumber salad, and kaldereta.
‎

‎Then, while waiting for the others to arrive, more dishes kept coming, like the sinigang na tilapia, fried chicken, and one dish that truly made my heart happy… It's the Bicol Express. 😍😍😍

‎When it comes to gatherings like this, I always go for Bicol Express. 😍 It’s my absolute favorite.
‎
‎It instantly makes me drool. 🤤 I love it so much because it goes with anything. Whatever else is on the table, Bicol Express just fits right in and makes every bite extra delicious. That was definitely the highlight for me. 🥰
‎
‎Also, hubby mentioned that the pinaupong pato tasted a little bit malangsa compared to chicken. I didn’t notice it because I didn’t get to taste both. Haha.
‎
‎With so many wonderful dishes to choose from, every single one of us found something we truly loved.
‎
‎And that’s how our Saturday went. 🥰
