Hello everyone! Hello my dear hivers and friends here in @bayanihive community! Here I am again, "LJ" to share another simple life story to you all even though it's been a while since I've shared my life experiences here. I am glad that finally today I am not that busy, and I can be able to write my simple blogs here.

Since classes and work were suspended today due to upcoming typhoon, my son and I woke up much later than usual. There was no rush, no alarms to beat, and no schedules to follow. It felt nice to enjoy a slow morning, something we don’t ofter get to do on a regular days. By the time we got out of bed, it was already close to lunchtime, so we decided to have brunch instead.

I ordered chicken fillet platter from a foodhouse here in our town because it was my son’s favorite. As expected, he ate a lot and looked very happy while enjoying his meal. Seeing him eat well always makes me feel content and grateful. We stayed at the table a bit longer, just talking and relaxing, appreciating the quiet and peaceful mood of the day.

After brunch, I prepared myself to go out because Palawan pawnshop had sent me a message about their Subasta sale happening that day. I was curious and excited, so I headed there to check it out. When I arrived, I spent time looking at the different gold items display. There were so many options like necklaces, bracelets, pendants, and rings. All offered at sale prices! It was tempting to browse, and I carefully examined each piece, hoping to find something that would really catch my eye.

Unfortunately, even with so many choices, I did not find anything that truly matched my taste. I felt a bit disappointed but also okay with it. Sometimes, not buying anything is still a good decision. After a while, I decided to head back home.

When I arrived, a pleasant surprise was waiting for us. My aunt, who lives right next door, gave us cinnamon rolls for merienda. They were soft, sweet, and perfect for the afternoon. My son and I enjoyed them together, feeling thankful for such simple but thoughtful gestures.

Not long after, my mother arrived from the city. She was very excited because she had bought a new phone to replace her old one that had already broken. She happily showed it to us, smiling proudly. Seeing her so happy ended the day on a warm and positive note, reminding me that these simple days can be meaningful and joyful.

And that's it for today's blog! Thank you for taking the time to read my simple life story. I hope to see you on my next one. Have a nice day ahead to all of us!
Lots of love,
LJ💗
