The Afternoon Raindrops - on Leaves and Flowers
Hello everyone have a nice day to you all.. hope everyone is okay despite of what is happening in this world today.. yesterday, heavy rain dropped from morning to afternoon.. i was worried about my daughter because she needs to cross from our island to the city just to go to school.. the wind is strong and the waves are getting bigger because of the bad weather.. but luckily, the rain stopped late in the afternoon.. my nervousness disappeared because the weather is getting manageable.. to relax myself i get my camera and go to the garden to capture the raindrops..
The first thing i took was of in flowers.. it was beautiful to watch the raindrops about to fall on the ends of the petals of the orchids flowers.. they look like pearls that were placed and sparkle especially when the sun shown on them..
There were also raindrops on leaves. They look like tiny gems sparkling on green leaves. The plants look so refreshed after the rain.
Sometimes, heavy rain and strong wind make me a little nervous, but i am also thankful because rain is helpful for my plants and flowers.
I was even happier when my daughter texted me and said she's coming back home and the weather is fine in the city.
