Finding Joy In The Simple Life On Our Little Farm

Hello, everyone! Today, I'll take you on a little tour of our farm. It is about 15 kilometers away from the city, making it a peaceful place to escape from the busy streets and enjoy nature.

We'll travel there by tricycle, a common three-wheeled vehicle that many Filipinos use for their daily transportation. As we traveled along the road, I couldn't help but admire the rows of green trees on both sides. Looking at them made me feel that the place was full of life. The fresh air and peaceful surroundings instantly made me feel relaxed.

When we arrived, the first ones to welcome us were the chickens. Maybe they missed me. ☺️ Seeing them waiting near us made me smile. Some of them were inside cages so we could monitor their health, while the others were freely roaming around the farm, enjoying their little world.

Next, we checked on our pigs. We currently have three of them, and they looked happy and healthy. One of their favorite moments is when we pour water on them to help them cool down, especially during warm days. Watching them enjoy the water made us smile. They are so cute!

While we were busy taking care of the animals, we also had three little spectators watching us—a dog, a cat, and a big duck. They quietly stayed nearby as if they were making sure we were doing everything correctly. Maybe they wanted to join us too. ☺️

As we walked around the farm, I also noticed our fruit-bearing trees. I immediately checked our jackfruit, and it's almost ready to harvest. We can't wait to enjoy its sweet taste once it's fully ripe. Seeing the fruits slowly grow reminds me that good things take time, patience, and proper care.

After checking the animals and the fruit trees, I realized that a simple life in the province is truly worth living. Life here may not always be fast or exciting, but it gives a different kind of happiness—one that comes from nature, hard work, and appreciating the little blessings around us.

Thank you so much for reading! Until the next story to be told.

True! Plus the cool breeze. I also like it here when it's raining. ☺️ Somehow, it gives me comfort.
