Sometimes I envy the birds..
They fly off to a place peaceful and safe from the wicked..
It's more like it's them and their wings against the world..
They shut the noise out as they take flight.
The birds are free..
They take off the burden of this world..
At a slightest inconvenience..
They change their environment..
I wish I had a wing..
So that I could fly..
To a very quiet place..
And unburden my soul..
I wish there was peace and quiet in this world..
I wish all the troubles are far gone..
And at the slightest cruelty..
I can be far gone from those who seek to hurt me.
If wishes were horses..
beggars will ride..
But this is my reality..
I am just a human.
With no wings..
Just hopes..
With no beak..
Just lips that can pray..
With no claws to devour..
Just a good heart..
Wishing the world can be a better place..
And everyone can find peace within themselves and around the people they love.
I wish we all can have a safe haven..
Where we can all run to when the chaos tries to cosume us..
I really wish people can be a little kinder and understanding.
I wish i could wake up to genuine hearts everywhere..
Where they mean it when they say they care..
And not for selfish reasons..
I wish life could be a lot more easier..
