Day 11! The community Hive Argentina invites everyone to share How is children day celebrated in your country!.
How does your culture celebrate childhood? Do you have different celebrations for boys and girls?
Education and learning, don't you just love that, and something children should love too!
Do you know one thing we have in common with children?
We don't stop learning!
I never knew there was a Children's Day, but it is not surprising there are days for everything now.
I mean did you know that April 23rd is International Nose Picking Day.
In fact it is one of the most observed days. According to a 1995 study, 91% of respondents reported doing it!!!
I fluffing well digress, but kids and picking noses go hand in hand don't they?
Of course they do, well let's have one more child sort of related day shall we?
Okay then ....
... also known as NCD, is a annual celebration that is held in South Africa. It is held in March or April each year.
However there are many countries that celebrate in on 19th of May.
Why the 19th of May you ask... well being Sunday I think this is quite appropriate, for all you churchgoers today, perhaps you might recall Proverbs 5:19..
Enough said, and for those that don't know the bible, go and look it up!
Babies breastfeed and hold on to their mother's breasts after all so I think this is anoter relevant International Day ...
The event was sponsored by the brassière marketer wonderbra, I am not sure if that is still the case!
World Children’s Day is UNICEF’s annual day of action for children, by children, marking the adoption of the Convention on the Rights of the Child.

I am not going to dwell on the rights of children as the Child rights convention says things way better than me. I will make a few candid points further on in this post.
This is where it all gets confusing, the United States celebrate theirs on the second Sunday in June I believe....
Meanwhile ....
In 2025 UK children's Day will be observed on May 14th...
The rationale behind this actually makes sense! ...
However, we felt that it was really important that children in the UK should be able to get outside on Children's Day, into their neighbourhoods and nature, so we chose to hold it at the beginning of the summer.

It is pretty fluffing big ... as all the events shown on the what went on page from which I have a few screenshots as examples...
Schools, businesses, councils all got involved to celebrate children!
When things are fun, we pay attention, we learn.
I have been a tutor many times and even a college lecturer to Masters students taking Knowledge Management.
Fun if you create a fun environment things happen and things go well no matter who it is.
For health reasons we chose not to have children. I did not want the chance of me passing on my bastard of an arthritis onto my son.
But I am the favourite uncle and great uncle, which is quite ironic as I can be stern and don't suffer fools gladly.
Edward, little boys should be seen and not heard when adults are talking is what my grandpa would tell me.
Okay I would say and then go and play outside!
Looking back he was right, I learnt manners and respect. As much as I love kids of today, it saddens me seeing how manners have gone, everything has gone woke lol and no doubt I will be lamblasted for saying that!
Lets' finish with a song!

Well, from young girl at today I always celebrate in 1 june... But was almost a normal day only full of chocolate and candys... Now i try to be a generous mother and I cook my son's favorite dessert, certainly with the help of 2 little hands that turn the kitchen into a room for the "flour" party😂
hehe aren't kitchens meant to be a little hands party or flour throwing room 🤣
Thank you for participating in our initiative, “Día del Niño”. We suggest you add the link of your participation to @hiveargentina's invitation post. Regards @tengolotodo.leo
