The most scary movie I ever watched was not even a horror movie.
It was one normal evening. Light went off, everywhere was dark. I said let me watch something on my phone to pass time. I saw a film titled "The House At The End".
I pressed play.
First 20 minutes was normal. Small family moved to new house. The house was cheap, too cheap. Neighbours were looking at them somehow.
Then the small daughter started talking to someone inside the wardrobe. She said "my friend said we should not sleep tonight". I laughed small.
But as the film continued, my room became too quiet. Too quiet.
There is a scene where the mother heard footsteps upstairs but everyone was downstairs. She carried torch and went up. The camera followed her slowly. Slowly. And behind her, a shadow passed.
I paused the film. My heart was beating fast. I looked behind me in my real room. Nothing. But fear don catch me already.
I tried to continue but I could not. Every sound in the film sounded like sound in my house. When the door creaked in the movie, my own door also creaked because of wind.
I had to off the film at 1 hour. I did not finish it till today.
That night I slept with light on. And even with light on, I was still checking wardrobe every 5 minutes.
Some movies are not just movies. They follow you to bed.

Yeah it was a bad timing to catch a horror flick. I usually prefer watch Sci Fi, specially about space, or the future.
